Lithium Victron gear it’s big boy toy with deep wallets they even change bearings shocks plus winterize it all this above and beyond seller price it’s nuts all for like what 3-6 weeks of use I bet
IMO, the cost for the quality you get doesn't line up. They're charging a premium price for a product actually made pretty cheaply in China, there are some major concerns with the wiring/electrical system and potential fire hazards as well as interior build quality. There's at least one thread over on the ExPo forums talking about this and the less than stellar response owners/potential owners have received from the company/dealer when they've tried to get answers/fixes. Some of the pictures of the electrical panels, wiring, chafing and eventual shorting issues, and just generally not being up to RVIA and NEC standards (which they are required to meet if they're claiming RVIA certification) are pretty scary. I know you're just trying to show off some cool stuff, Jason. Folks should just make sure and do their homework before dropping major coinage on any product.
Hey Jason. Sorry I missed you at West. I am fulltime overlanding in a HQ19 currently in Utah. Drifting toward Montana with hopes of going to Glacier National Park. My HQ will go more places than my Ram 2500 4X4. It does have some short coming but all RV have then. Safe travels and see you on the trail.
I heavily researched these. They are awesome but come with tons of little fixes you need to do. There’s tons of helpful FB groups but seems like there’s a list of 15 things that need to be fixed immediately, and they are not suited for cold weather at all
This is just like most of the caravans in Australia. A few are made in China but most are Australian made from chassis upwards. They range from AU$80,000-$250,000+ depends on lithium package and size and off road chassis.

It's far beyond the price anyone normal. I personally don't understand the huge mark up on trailers because it has a few appliances. Especially when a regular covered trailer cost around $2000 imagine the upgrades $10,000 could buy.
Seems that price tag is oftentimes them just charging you for the convenience of having everything already set up. Which for some people is okay I suppose but like you said, imagine how you could personally upgrade your rig with that same price tag! It would truly be yours and not a cent would be wasted on unnecessary stuff.
@@MrJayson204 the problem nowadays is everyone wants everything right away. Sometimes time patience with a little sweat will not only save you a bunch of money but give you something 100% that you can take pride in.
No good if you have to cool seal the roof every year. Can't go to the rv store every year and get a tub of roof sealant in a bug out situation. If you don't the roof will leak. If you want to go camper trailer you need a molded fiberglass
Worth every penny I’m sure but accessible to only a few. As the economy collapses so will the RV industry, unfortunately. The few that manage to survive will be the ones that manufacture affordable products. I hope I’m wrong.
it is not the ultimate caravan, it is just a cookie cutter chinese made van, there are other aussie vans like this out of the same chinese factory. If you want the ultimate offroad van look at the australian made offroad vans and not the australian chinese made vans.
Not to be rude but why is there so much talk on just the tires alone. Tires are probably the least expensive item on this trailer. I'm not buying a trailer because of the tires. Lol🤣
the black series trailer did not make the top ten list for rugged outdoor trailers..too cheaply built but yet they ask 100 k...lol...most peeps that can afford over 100k for a trailer DONT do deep woods off road camping,they stay in hotels so they dont get their shoes dirty!! haha
Impossible to get warranty work done. Too many proprietary parts that you can only get from black series. The company will ignore any attempts at satisfactory warranty work. The wiring routes make no sense and a complete mess of an installation. This owner is the invisible man as well😢😢😢
I’m an owner, unfortunately, of HQ21. The suspension design and manufacturing quality is crap. They are not an American company. The company is from China. Build and warranty and parts are all located in China. You cannot align the wheels because the suspension arms and brackets are built correctly. Customer service is non existent
Not as it’s sold it isn’t but like ANY camper you need mods lots of even in these The solar needs redone completely You need eliminate black water dumping and get rid of the run if the mill dometic 💩so your looking at minimum of 15000$ and that’s if u do nothing with the underbelly to insulate it Unless your in Texas or Arizona Florida then who cares
