I can meet him halfway. I love well done inventory management. deciding what to take on a expedition, how much fuel, ammo or food to take really adds the extra immersion i want while turning what may have been a otherwise simplistic game play into something cool. Say for example making what may have been a otherwise OP gun take heavy huge ass shells meaning the player can only carry a few and pick and choose when to use it. But badly done inventory systems with out a way to choose anything where you just have arbitrary limits on each item like say the first two metro titles or the last of us (metros still great overall) are just awful. the player can never choose what to do, you cant take less ammo and more medpacks. you just hit the max and that's it. without any player choice it just exists to punish players with good item efficiency/ that are good at finding stuff.
Bruh, gta taught us that your prison pocket can hold multiple assault rifles, swords, hands guns, and a bazooka, if you just believe hard enough and- presumably- buy lube by the gallon.
Attention to little details in game is really great, I love when developers make this little things that makes game so much immersive. Game looks fun, for sure.
23:50 Splatty has a Neurological Event.... You can literally hear his eyes go glassy as he stares unfocused, expressionless, drool escaping the corner of his mouth until his brain does a hard reboot some seconds later. Splatty... U ok mate?
Amazing! I can't wait for this. I hope they don't make the crafting or anything too complicated. There are already so many super in-depth crafting games.
I tried the demo after the vid you did before, it was fun and I'm really happy to see the progress Devs made on the game, it looks a whole lot better and even more fun too. Good call on skipping the tutorial imo. I'm going to try this new version, thanks Splatt' !
Nice, looks great. Heard it is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Hopefully they bring it over and leave the over the top blood too. Looks awesome and will be a day one purchase when it fully releases.
Enemies seem too bullet-spongy...But I dig the look/style and theme of this game a lot. Yes, there should be more skyship games. I think we need a steampunk RPG, too. Lots of non-RPG's use the setting. Really, we need Arcanum 2.
In German if you ask after the location you would say: "Wo ist mein Bruder ?". Wo=where. Wer=who. In other way round germans learning english often say: 'Who is my brother'. If they want to know where he is. 😋. English is so close to German but sometimes it really fools you, but it goes in both directions 😄.
Sold, imma play this hahaha Thanks! @SplatterCatGaming, your always a cool source of indie games and also source of my work allowance spending hahaha (no ragrets tattoo here) hahah
Me, immediately recalling the past video, hoping you'll speed through the tutorial Splatt: "so bc my last video I just skipped the tutorial" oh, sweet 8 pound 6 ounce baby jesus, thank you!
I hadn't heard of this till now but it looks really good plus Google says it's releasing on the switch in a few months. This video seems to flow much better than your other's, hopefully you'll see more subs than a sandwich shop soon.
If you are revising the process in these trials I would love to see 15-20 minutes of the start of the game and then a cut to something like the 2 hour point. so many games have the start polished and then it dips in quality after you get out of the area that everyone is exposed to at first.
Ha you should have a t shirt with something relating to the phrases you say with ''on'' in them...like ''were going to check this on out''...would buy that. or i think ''lets dive on in'' is a common one.
I don't mind a system that prevents me from taking every single one of my items with me but allows me to harvest/store indefinite amounts of items or resources. I shouldn't need to be a walking grocery store like skyrim.
game devs like in gta cod bf squad and etc should start building and prodcuing lots and tons of equipment in forms of airsoft weapons guns firearms and vehicles with theyre ingame sounds in all of them aswell as costumes outfits and clothes
@@TheArtOfMagic Yes, but also no. Spiel is both noun and verb. It's the same in my language, it's a word for both a game, to game and a theatre play and a theatrical performance. A spiel _in this context_ stems from a theatrical performance (a play) and means: "an elaborate or glib speech or story typically one used by a salesperson", which is what he was referring to. Let's not confuse the meaning here with a German recognizing a word that also means game was my point.
@@zerwif So you HAVE to build up settlements? Not really a problem. A bit of farming and building is a nice way to stretch play time a bit. Specially for survival games or roguelikes a very good way.
