A quick update regarding the release date of the Dukes - Due to the delay of SU15 from Asobo/Microsoft we are also going to need to delay the release of the Dukes unfortunately. Best laid plans and all that. Impressive how mush Blacksquase has evolved over time. From a mod developer to a very high end airplane developer, creating new standards in the industry. Well done guys!
I primarily fly bush/STOL birds, but for GA and IFR flights the Dukes can't be beat. Just wish the TBM and Caravan were available for the Xbox side of the house.
It will be added but certainly not until after the Duke is released. The tablet and other features will be added retrospectively to other Black Square titles but we don't currently have a timescale or full list of what will be included in the retrofit.
Almost on a par, but not quite I think. With the Comanche, you can quit the sim entirely, reload it 30 mins later, and find that the oil in your engine is still warm, since it knows that it was hot 30 mins earlier (in real time). This level of persistence likely won't come (for now, or at all) with Black Square, which is one area I hope to see an option for in future. Accidentally leaving switches in the wrong place during a hasty shutdown is a great way to be taught a lesson at the start of the next flight!
The comanche is the top... I can't wait for whats next from A2A. I will buy these dukes too though, they look great... and faster and can go higher... plus turbine is just awesome. @@Mustang242Sqn

@@justflight thank you, absolutely, I wasn't expecting timeframes, just wondering if the 850 would get this as it is an add-on that deserves a tablet to showcase its many systems!
Definitely going to purchase these, but I wonder if you plan to retrofit the tablet to your earlier products? The King Air hasn't been updated in a long time.
Yes where applicable they will be retrofitted. Need to release the Dukes first though. Black Square very much a one-man band when it comes to the key development work.
I saw on the documentation that there is save state for radio freq and others stuff, but I wonder if there is persistence with the switch and knobs. Nothing more immersion breaker than starting on an airport that have no parking ramp and have the engine already on after loading a flight. I hope there is this option. Real cold and dark. If yes, then instant buy for me.
Nah, I don't think so. Close to the same level, but A2A still has the edge IMHO. For instance, the A2A craft will remember EVERY switch position as you left it. The Blacksquare won't. You can also walk around the A2A, and I don't think the Duke has a walk-around. At least to my knowledge. Still, I'm happy to see the progress and will gladly buy them!
