Hello Sean, can't believe I am seeing your comment here and now and not ages before! Hope you are doing fine, those guys fell apart a few years back, at least we still can listen to their music and especially 1st album.
Im glad i got the chance to catch them live thats when i discovered them they opened for Five Finger Death Punch n they killed it Man for real tho wished they woulda made it big

I discovered them because of this album and I like both albums equally. It's just a shame they stopped making music like the first album because not many bands can make music like that.
Honestly if people would stop comparing it to their first album (which was amazing), it's not bad. It's a different sound, but still just as good in my opinion. I don't care about the change in image either. They could be dressed as clowns in this video and it wouldn't matter. Good music is good music, no matter what the people playing it look like.

so, by that logic, nikki minaj is a musical genius, right? they let their label talk them into changing their style in order to appeal to a larger demographic, essentially theyre feeding you the same thing top 40 artists do but just with guitars, bass, and drums, thats the problem, the people like me who dont like top 40 music are left disappointed because the band we found and felt had integrity to the genre of metal/thrash has now sold out and are making music that is bland to us, if you like top 40 modern pop then thats fine, but please understand why selling out pisses off the fans that felt they had found something great

Man, this band could be a great band of metal, They had potencial, they have the gift! But they stopped to do "Thrash/Classic metal" (what nobody with their age does, nowadays) to do "Metalcore" (what every single new metal band does today). Cool, You gonna earn more money, for now. But you will be just one more, and in the course of time, you will be forgotten. I do not know if this price you pay is fair enough. Before someone says "So, Make yourself". I wish I could. I play guitar for 7 years. I can play a lot of stuffs. But I can't create my own. Because I don't have the gift. I think this can not be wasted.
Yeah I agree. I remember hearing the song Warriors of Time back in 2008 and was amazed to find out they were just teenagers. I felt they were going to go on to only get better and better. Now I listen to Walking Dead Man and they just seem generic.
Andrew Phillips it doesnt mean they're going to be like this forever, they gotta change a bit with time, its kinda marketing play... get new fans and these things, in my case i was introduced to this band by their metalcore songs that's why ive looked for more their songs and today i can consider myself as i fan of them. and i like their old stuff as much as i like their new. you guys doesnt have to be stuck in only one genre
Andrew Phillips It's ironic, as teenagers they played music that older people listened to, but as older people they now play music that teenagers listen to.
I couldn't be more honest. Black tide is my favorite band. Austin and Gabe just kill it on guitar, steven spence just shreds the drums and zakk destroys the bass. How are these guys not world known!?!?!?
This stuff isn't bad at all. It's fucking good. I don't understand all the hate. It's just a stylistic change. Avenged Sevenfold changes styles every single album and people eat that shit up like hot cakes. I don't fucking get it.
I've never heard of this band before but it was in my recommend so I clicked on it and they are not half bad I'm always looking for more band to be addicted to
yes it's a shame when they take turn to be a metalcore, but all of this is just because gabriel get his puberty then gone his high pitch sound. it's not because they want to be metal core it's more like they have to so they'll survive in this entertainment world for me it's nice they still making a music.
You know, people keep saying negative things about this album and this song. But this band has released quality music from day one. They had their growing up faze, like learning how to be better live and what not. But at the end of the day, they are bigger now than they ever were and they deserve it.
In the drums, Taylor Lautner of twilight (wolf) , in the guitar corbin bleu (high school musical) , the vocal: a guy influenced by andy six actual look, LOL.
So funny to see everyone complaining back in the day, I still think this song is the best one that they've ever pulled out. A shame that the band is no longer kicking, I love this song so much.
As much as this song is sort of post hardcore. They still have their roots in Heavy Metal/Hard Rock. Found this band when i was 14 im 22 now. Always loved this band
Why do people say this is fucking metalcore? Have you people ever fucking HEARD metalcore before? Here's an example: Parkway Drive. This is way fucking closer to post hardcore/hardcore if you people knew fucking anything at all about the bridges between subgenres.
Eila Juutilainen Parkway drive is hardcore, this is melodic metalcore (with post-hardcore influences), one is derived from punk, the other is derived from thrash metal, seriously dude what you said is like saying five finger death punch is pop-punk, if you knew fucking anything at all about the bridges between subgenres
i got to meet them in Kansas in august They were so awesome and cool and nice. a week later there was a project at school and we had to write about our best moment in our life and i wrote about this one.
