Agreed! Natasha most definitely needs a movie. She's been waiting 11-12 years for her own movie and now 11-12 years later, she finally gets one! She deserves it more than anyone!
LOVE the spy/Jason Borne style. I think this is why Winter Soldier is my favorite film in the MCU so far. It's not a superhero movie. It's a spy action flick. And this Black Widow film looks to be very much in the vain of Winter Soldier. I'm stoked.
Seeing Taskmaster is cool as long as the directors don’t take away his skills. Black Widow can not beat this guy by herself, with the exception of Deadpool most marvel characters can not fight Taskmaster cause he can use their skills against them. I believe he is also a mutant which gives him the ability to use those skills. Imagine going against someone who can use Hawkeyes , Caps , Spider-Man skills all at the same time. Yeah this guy is nasty.
Red Guardian already seems like a likable character based off this trailer. He can be what Korg was to Ragnarok and possible appear in the Falcon series.
Dyl Pickle he doesn’t want to be contracted to franchises? did he sign multiple movies with hellboy? he is in stranger things which is big and he joined a marvel movie. I think he might die but I don’t know about the franchise thing.
I've wanted a Black Widow movie since 'Age Of Ultron', so her death in 'Endgame' just ratcheted up that need to see more of Natasha. And that teaser trailer just looks so AMAZING! I'm hyped 😊
Also- my Russian coworker texted me a month ago and asked me what she should tell her 6 year old son why Russians are always bad guys in every show and movie these days. It’s clear to me in this movie that they will show (some) Russians in a good light. Red Guardian will steal the show I’m betting. You can just tell that David Harbour is going to squeeze every drop from this role.
So what who cared what people say. Russians are fine they aren't Muslims countries that kill each other and invent terrorist organisations so all good believe me
thinking about when natasha and bucky were fighting in civil war and she mentions that he should recognize her (and i don't think that was in reference to tws or that he shot her in the 90s or something) i think that was in reference to their relationship or allegience whenever ago and i thought that would have been a nice idea for a movie and that would also give bucky some character building instead of being.......steve's friend??? a guy who can shoot things??? they kinda forgot about him post civil war
Well he was a focal point in winter soldier and civil war obviously. He's only been in avengers films since then where he's not a main character so there wouldn't be time to flush the character out more in those films. Hence why we're getting the Falcon and Winter Soldier show.
I don't really mind the costume changes they made to Taskmaster, could be better tho, but not a deal breaker. I just don't get why everyone keeps insisting Rachel Weisz, who is already confrimed to be playing Iron Maiden, is going to actually be Taskmaster. I mean, look at the footage, whoever is in the Taskmaster costume is just a few inches shorter than David Harbour, and has a physical build that's just slightly less bulky than his... I don't recall Weisz being that tall or buff.
That 'monster' line was always misunderstood and misquoted, typical of the internet. She clearly meant she's a monster because she chose to go through the surgery as a 'graduation' in order to become Black Widow.
I love the trailer and very excited to see Natasha Romanoff's first ever solo film in the MCU. Both Scarlett Johansson and the character Natasha Romanoff deserve their own movie.
@@minitask6201 In the comics The Winter Soldier was employed by the Red Room to help train the group Natasha was in Also in several comic runs they had a romantic relationship
mark Since they pulled back on the skull mask I feel like they should’ve upped the colors. Add some orange for the pads(shoulder, elbow, knee) brighten up the blue and change the skull mask so that it doesn’t look just dull gray.
I think they will definitely go family in this film Wiess as the mother and red guardian as father figure with helena younger sister and by end of film red guardian will have sacrificed himself for widow ( his motto family) which lends itself to widows death in endgame and wiess will be the real baddie who widow kills and helena will leave widow at end of movie allowing widow to leave her old family behind and go back to the only family she will have left the avengers
I also think they’ll go with Family but I really hope they DONT kill off Red Guardian I will be so sad I feel like he is gonna have some really iconic lines
I saw a couple other reaction videos where they mentioned that by family lost, it means that she loses Yelena and it's the reason why Natasha wears that vest in IW & Endgame like in her memory basically saying Yelena will die in BW movie and I agree with that.
My initial opinion on the taskmaster look--Crossbones' mask in civil war looks better than the taskmaster mask in this trailer. But i guess it will grow on me eventually. We haven't seen much of him in this trailer.
@@mp7scarh i have faith in marvel design team. But we should not forget that things don't always translate well enough from comics to movies. And add to that the fact they need to sell toys to the kids. Not many parents would be willing to buy an action figure with a 💀
Wait a minute, I thought that was "Crossbones" in the movie Civil War. I don't know all the Russian comic book characters, and someone said it was "Crossbones" so I took them at their word. One thing to consider is that I heard that China has put a ban on all imagery of skulls in movies so if they want this movie to do well in China skulls are out.
Just thoroughly enjoy your takes on all things MCU. I share your excitement on this movie. I also have come to appreciate expecting the unexpected with Feige... I’m counting on something amazing to come out of this movie, laying groundwork for phases 4 and 5.... perhaps a revival of our woman on the wall.
I miss you guys being on superhero news. I get it you guys are busier and are working on bigger things and kudos for that but I miss the constant content from all 3
I hope we get a hard Borne/atomic blonde feel to this movie. A Mission Impossible/Bond feel wouldn't be bad either. I jsut hope it doesn't feel too mainstream Marvel
The reason for Taskmaster not having the Skull look is because China are HUGE financial backers for these films, and these films do extremely well there, but China has strict rules against portraying anything supernatural, such as ghosts and skeletons. One of the reasons why Crossbones costume wasn't heavily featured in Civil War, and they killed him off quick. Taskmaster will be prominently featured in this film, so they had to alter his look.
@@guano524 not sure how well Strange did there numbers wise, but I know they had a hand in changing the Ancient One from a Tibetan Monk, as to not offend China.
@@NaomiTCOOKIES Not exactly sure, the more I've been researching, sources just keep saying supernatural elements go against the communist party's values. I for one always thought the supernatural played a prominent part of Chinese culture, folklore, mythology, and legends, so maybe it's a new thing the nation is pushing.
Even if they knock it out of the park in this movie it does not change the fact they have done her dirty in Endgame and in the past in general. She was the head of the Avengers during their darkest time and give up her life like that and got like two short scenes. I've been a big fan of how Marvel has done the MCU for the most part save this.
If I'm not mistaken, she has already been confirmed to be taken on the mantle for future movies. And I think they're sister in we both came from the red room way, not biological.
I hope Taskmaster survives this movie so they can have him on the Thunderbolts along with Yelena. I think they could be an interesting pair to see together, like a twisted version of Black Widow and Hawkeye.
What's up guys!!! So I have a question. People who are more knowledgeable about the comics then I am, have said that there were clones of Black Widow at one time. Any chance that they may have a ScarJo clone at the end?
Guys make sure not to miss my movie ,,marvel saved the best for this one ,,I hope you all watch this because this is probably the most epic and thrilling journey of Natasha ,we will know more about her ,, and it introduces new characters that will continue the marvel era.
There’s so much content out there these days and even though you guys don’t do many trailer reactions anymore but all three of your reactions to Civil War and Justice League was what got me originally. While times have changed and you can tell (a little) that the access that Adam and Hector have to this stuff takes the edge off the reaction, Agustin has the wonderment in his eyes every time it reminds me why I love these movies. These movies are so great because they have the potential to fill your heart with so many feelings Bc you are so invested in these characters. The fact that some of them have super powers is almost secondary. You guys are all great, but Agustin- never change buddy. They need to keep you in a bubble because you make these reaction videos. Great work guys.
Yeah I miss you guys doing trailer reactions for a long time I miss you guys and bro this Teaser Trailer Marvel Studios Black Widow Movie 🎥 🍿This is Epic and 🔥 Lit Legit Awesome
I have a theory that it might actually take place after winter soldier... based of f what flash backs they decided to use... Because didn’t she go off to find a new cover or something like that??
The only thing I would’ve liked would be the skull on the mask. Obviously the orange cap shield and sword would look a bit weird but the skull in some way would be badass. Not what we see. Also I have a feeling taskmaster is just gunna be Rachel Weisz character and that’d be kind of anticlimactic...
I've me watching you guys since superhero news. you guys should make a compilation of hector saying he's already watched a trailer. he has no self-control lol
She has to end the red room, but also set up a successor and possibly a new team!! I think from their glum surroundings her stories of what she has been involved in will inspire them to be more.
I keep saying this......... What did Cap do when he returned The Soul Stone? ...... This is gonna be huge... If this is not a major plot point going forward, they are dummies. They've proven they aren't thus far....
I'm with you. I believe the end credit scene of this movie will be Natasha being rescued from the Soul Gem. The only question I have, is who's soul is taking her place?
@@aswar123warren3 Doesnt need a soul? He returns it... In 2015..so her soul is free.. ? Why would anyone die if hes giving it back? Then Thanos pushes Gamora off in 2018.... Taking the stone Steve puts back lol!
i love black widow and what her character has brought to the franchise up until endgame. however, i think that for a character who's history was shrouded in mystery (as far as the cinematic universe is concerned) for like 80% of the first 3 phases, the way things ended makes sense to me. to be honest, this is probably the only way to do some sort of movie about her life prior to the events of endgame without it feeling like a "money-grab" of sorts. that and her movie will most likely introduce us to brand new characters and villains and side stories to which we, as the audience, will get to build new rapports with; it's the perfect setup to phase 4. i also kind of like how, based on the trailers, this isn't going to be your typical origin story that has already been formulized in the previous phases, but when the events of the movie take place natasha will be in the process of completing her origin story; you could even argue that the climax of her death in endgame was the finalization of her arch, it was the end to her origin story. it's like what agustin said about whether or not he would be as hyped about the movie if she didn't die, and i feel the same way. especially as the inaugural storyline of phase 4, there needed to be weight to it, and to do it any other way would have turned it into just another backstory of a character that some people (mostly those who aren't familiar with any of the comic lore) don't find as important as captain america, iron man, thor, etc. i'm glad marvel chose the route that they did, because the character that we know and love as black widow deserves to be treated with some reverence and the things that take place in this upcoming movie will just be added to the mcu's canon moving forward. i see this even setting up other movies and storylines, maybe even for future phases.
Being a ‘monster’ could be slaughtering people, innocents, with no great moral cause behind those deaths. Similarly Bucky could see his former life as being a monster.
@@secondsister1816 he won't. The only person able to kill him is deadpool since he doesn't have any planned attacks and he's just crazy so thankfully he won't die. Like come on taskmaster almost defeated captain America and iron man
Winter Soldier is a spy movie in Captain America style , this movie i think is going to be more grounded and i really looking forward to hand to hand combacts or weapon mastery shit .
Marvel could drop a trailer at any time and I' d watch within the first hour 😂 this trailer dropped at like 3 AM EST and I definitely immediately clicked on that notification 😂😂😂
