Black Women Share Ayahuasca Experience and Healing with Plant Medicine Ayahuasca Stories 

Psychedelics are just an amazing discovery. It's quite fascinating how effective they are for depression and stress..saved my life.

I’m so glad that black women are opening up themselves beyond religion & everything else that’s anchoring us from our true divinity. I hope more of our people will open ourselves to true healing

Aya is something we desperately need in the Black community 💙.

I'm a white man, not a Black woman, but I suspect because I am gay and came of age during the 1980s and '90s, I can relate to everything you discuss here. My experiences with ayahuasca were the same (given that all experiences have profound differences), and part of what I learned through the processes of my experiences is that when we identify with various labels, what we are actually doing is accepting uninformed descriptions of who we are, assigned by people who are not us, into our identities. In school and even in college, I was usually the one gay person in any given classroom. (I also was isolated as the only gay person in my household among my family.) By the time I got to college in 1996 and our culture had changed enough that people wanted to discuss sexual identities openly, I was always called on by instructors to speak on behalf of "the gay perspective," as if any single individual can speak for all people within any group. I realized very quickly that this is the same position the Black students in my K-12 school classrooms always were put into, as I went to a majority-white school system and most classes typically had one Black student and no more than one. Anytime anything relating directly or tangentially to the Black American Civil Rights movement came up, that one Black student was expected to serve as the commentator on behalf of their entire 'community.' The feelings one oneness, the ego dissolution that comes from ayahuasca, the overwhelming empathy for all entities that can be felt with ayahuasca, made me realize how foolish and manipulative these concepts of identity are. We are all similar people from the same source who drive different-looking vehicles that have different features and varied types of special abilities, but inside of those vehicles, we are unique because we're individuals but we're the same because we are effectively aspects of the same spirit. As soon as you step out of the car and look around, you realize how strange it is that you've always identified yourself as being the hardware of the car, and you marvel when you remember that the fuel in its tank makes the car go but it is not your fuel.

I am a black woman who recently experienced Mother Aya. OMG it was the most beautiful, necessary and life changing experience I've ever had in my life. I am forever changed. These women are dead on!! If you are considering Ayawhausca, do it!!! This is how our ancestors healed and worshiped until Christianity said it was demonic and evil. It was the ultimate cleansing. I am forever grateful for Mother Aya and this amazing plant. Thank you for sharing this experience.

I have just returned from an Ayahuasca retreat in the Canary Islands. It wasn't what I was expecting as there was no authentic Shaman and the medicine was made from powder. After the first night, I asked if I could have a stronger dose for the second night. We were told that the dose was not as strong because people in the West would not be able to handle it. I was somewhat disappointed with the experience to say the least. However, I plan on travelling to Costa Rica for an authentic experience.

I have just come back from 3 day ayahuasca retreat absolutely amazing , cleared a lot of negative energy in me and left me feeling very very different , after 3 years of therapie resistent depression I am now glad to be alive again instead of wanting to die every day I feel a strong process has kicked in , some of the group did bufo , it seems to be even more amazing

Thank you so much. I’m a Black Woman, 30, and I feel like Mother Ayahuasca chose me as well. About to do my first ceremony in two weeks and decided I wanted to do it respectfully and right. I’ve been working on breathing more, journaling a bit more, and doing the dieta. Tonight I hit a point where I felt bitter. I felt bitter that I needed to heal, bitter that I couldn’t go out and eat junk food, or smoke cannabis, go out and be with people (then the shame set in). I know it’s natural but I still was holding onto stuff I don’t need to. I began watching this to get myself back to a place where I could be reminded why I’m going in the first place. This journey is so necessary. I’m doing great but I know Grandmother Ayahuasca will be able to aid me further, and help show why the bitterness and shame isn’t the real me. The truth is there but a little help never hurt anyone. We’re human after all. Seeing Women who look like me and most likely have experienced things I’ve experienced say “Do it” is so reaffirming. You all are so beautiful and I appreciate you with all my heart. One life many bodies 🙏🏽💖💯

I can't believe I found you sisters! Mother is taking care of me in showing me that people who look like me are healing this way. I am a 57 year old, veteran who has done a lot of internal work to heal past traumas and ptsd and my THERAPIST recommended that this be the next step for me. I heard the call and leave for a solo trip to the Andes Mountains in Ecuador Jan 31 for 2 weeks. I don't know what to expect other than since Mother has called me to deeper healing and higher consciousness, that she will take care of me during the process. Thank you So much for the videos! My God, I just cried and cried watching this I have been trying to heal my trauma for years and still trying to heal I have tried all the trauma counselling I could imagine! Listening to you guys have given me a spirit experience right then My God I can't believe I have come across this video I have had the opportunity to take this plant from people in England, Portugal and other countries but not puru! But my Instincts always said no because I did not trust or feel safe with the people they were just making money. 2 weeks ago I met a person who told me anonymously about a lady I can't say her name I have a zoom meeting with her next weekend. I just want to say when I find the right people I will want to experience this plant. I relate to what the lady said I did not choose this plant the plant is calling me I have even had a dream about this.
