I have a relationship problem that’s on going can’t fix it but whenever this has happened again I always tried to eat very much although I had this problem before I can’t seem to find any other way to forget about the problem😢. Please help. Thank you for your video as well 🎉
Hi ! What brand of agar are you using? It must be quick set. I just bought the Now brand. It says to add water and cook it some. So I am guessing you have quick set. Also, do you recommend any other recipes in the book? Thank you in advance
Hey 😊. I love how committed you are to mastering these non dairy cheese recipes 👍🏾Yes, correct it is quick set. That is the only one she recommends for all her recipes because it works best texture wise for the process. I used the brand Modernist Pan and it’s called Pure Super Agar Powder - High Gel Strength Gracilaria Algae Non GMO Vegan OU Kosher 2 oz package
"A God body that was the same color as the Earth"...wow. I feel like im seeing myself and the everyone of the African Diaspora in an entire different light
That’s magical to hear you say it - as that was the intention when spoken. The plants are so wise and when she told me that I knew I had to share it with the World so we could be re-rooted in a different story of ourselves 🖤
Thanks for the love! In time, I’m sure it will gain them. I trust that my videos will meet people when they need them. Until then I’ll keep making them to support those who need the help 💕
Great question! Dietas that ask you not to eat meat beforehand is about not ingesting spiritual harm and chemicals that meat is filled with in the industrialized West because of the factory farming and killing and also the use of chemicals that transfer to your body. In the indigenous communities where Ayahuasca is native, this is not a requirement as their meat is wild and uncontaminated. I’ve known some folks to eat chicken and fish while in ceremony because that source in the wild is pure. However I also want to be clear that the Dieta is not free of protein - there are non meat sources of protein like beans, legumes, greens, nuts and seeds that contain plenty to keep an adult healthy and balanced. Meat is not the only source of protein. Your unique experience will guide you on how to eat post Aya ceremony. Once the medicine is inside you, it will show you and transform your taste buds to guide you on what you need to eliminate, reduce and add to/from your diet.
Hey. I can’t include them because it’s not my recipe. Out of respect for the creator economy, I suggest that viewers buy her cookbook linked in the description.
Love this and love you!! Particularly from your incredible individual presence and perspective. I never belonged to a village and family until I met my dearest sister from Nigeria. She wholeheartedly embraced me into her family over 20 years ago and the heart and healing from that support because I grew up in a Christian cult has been lifesaving and has led to a secure attachment of love. I appreciate your presence and this was a gorgeous and I really appreciate your kind explanation and wisdom.
Hello Love 💜 This is my first video of your's.... Praying your Fibroids are all gone. 🙏🏾🙏🏾 Can you update me on it please? How is your recipes now? Still staying away from all soy? I'd love to know more. 💜
Hey! Welcome to the channel. I’m definitely still eating this way and remain soy free. I can instantly tell if I’ve mistakenly eaten something with soy because I’ll feel it in my womb. I’ve seen progress with shrinkage and I am asymptomatic which is a huge relief. No challenging cycles. Interestingly I’ve learned to listen to them rather than rebuke them. They are a source of pain for some however they can also be a source of healing. I’ll be doing a video later this year about managing life with fibroids and healing from the inside out. Are you currently experiencing fibroids?
Agreed! However it is part of the European cultural diet where the British ensured that their appetite for processed sugar would continue through supporting and sustaining sugar plantations during the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade also referred to as the African Holocaust. This is why I advocate for Decolonizing ones Diet and understanding the historical background of how certain foods became common place.
Yes absolutely! I love that brand, they have such quality products. They used to make this vegan queso blanco and they stopped. It was one of then best tasting quesos on the market!
Excited for you too Mandy! Think about the dieta as an offering to your body so it can be aligned to prepare for the medicine. Make it enjoyable for yourself. Don’t think in terms of deprivation but rather a feast of love and celebration of Earth’s harvest! Juicy fruit 🍉 🍎 🍇. Grounding veggies 🥗 🥔 🥕 Hydrating water. Really nice plant based foods like rice and beans, which every culture has their own version! I have a video on the dieta as well, if you haven’t watched it, it may help. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IU6R5eO-cY8.htmlsi=Yiexc3uxlcc7j7W2
That looks just like Oxtail. I wish I was one of the tasters it looks amazing. I will save this one as I am a big Jamaican food fan, I am transitioning to a plant base lifestyle and Jamaican food I will surely miss, but not anymore. Thank you so much for this.
Nope I don’t have an Amazon store for links. I share because I truly love the book. If folks want to support me, I’ve written my own cookbook that is available for download. I have a dairy free cream cheese recipe and butter recipe in there. sowl.co/s/baodf9
😊 thanks! The vegan and dairy cheese are super expensive- and this recipe is very satisfying on the taste buds and wallet! The agar is to give it that stretchy texture and the arrowroot is to help it thicken and feel creamy.
@@TheMindfulPlate thank you very much! I’m glad I read the comments because I saw somebody said they got the book from their library. I was able to do the same! Yay.
Out of respect for the author of the book I can’t reprint her recipe. However I’m happy to promote her book and encourage folks to buy it to see the ingredient list and measurements. I use this book regularly and highly recommend it. I don’t get a kickback from it, I just promote what I use and love.
I just got the book from the library. This book is EXCELLENT!!! Step by step pictures. I need to buy it! On What page is your recipe? I thought it might be page 21, but that has miso paste. Wow. Thank you!
It depends. Not for everyone. It’s not necessarily a prerequisite - however for some it can be helpful to have processed and have insight beforehand. The plant medicine journey is also therapy! What may take some folks years to process in therapy, a plant medicine journey can do in 1 sit. So it all depends on the person and their unique journey.
So interesting how you only quote part of the sentence and don’t acknowledge the rest of the statement. I stand by this -> The goal isn’t Veganism. The goal is to be mindful REGARDLESS of what diet one eats. Mindless veganism leads to eating fake meat and Oreos which contribute to health and environmental issues as well. Notice how many fast food restaurants have gotten with the Vegan trend and are still selling junk and a bunch of packaged goods in plastic waste? If we’re only focused on the label and NOT being mindful and aware of how these “labels” ultimately harm our bodies and Earth then we’ve missed the point.
@@TheMindfulPlate What's really interesting is people like you confusing veganism for a diet , or pretending to think it is about a type of diet , again smh , , actually Double SMH this time !! lol
Im leaving this comment for those who will come later and want to actually learn. As for you, it seems like you’re more interested in shaking your head than you are in having fruitful dialogue. When you’re ready to come down from your “Vegan” high horse, consider that vegan people who judge (like you) actually keep the community stuck. For those of you who are open to dialogue and expanding understanding, Consider that everyone is different and they require various dietary needs. When we get stuck on a label or focused on judging we miss that mindful eating isn’t against veganism - it’s just asking veganism to expand its idea of how labeling food or making it about a moral value doesn’t necessarily help everyone. Mindful plant based eating is asking folks to really consider their foods source and its impact on the planet and their health to shift the way people think about food and what they eat.
Thanks for watching the video. Thousands have gotten value based on using their creativity to learn the process and either buy the cookbook because they value supporting small business and creatives OR they’ve been creative enough to figure it out for themselves.
No it doesn’t. No cows 🐮 here. The name is confusing but it’s not dairy derived. A google search will give you more information as well. . . .Lactic acid is a product of the fermentation process. Whether it’s vegan or not will depend on what was fermented to create it. Most lactic acid is plant-based, but that isn’t always the case. If you want to be sure, you’ll have to contact the manufacturer directly to find out.
