This place is epic! The Devil's Elbow is one of the best natural mountain bike trails that I have ridden in a long time. Fast, rocks and very unpredictable. What's not to like?!

Really great overview of the riding there, definitely worth a visit. I had a fall on devils elbow last year but luckily came away unscathed!

Gnarly trails just makes riding much better. Trying to scare your self ones in a while makes MTB more exciting.

I did Piper house descent today on a nukeproof scout HT. Good fun. Also took 2 novice riders down it - they had to walk some sections. It's more janky / techie / steeper than it looks on this video. Long slog back up to the top!

Surprised you say it’s the hardest place you have ridden. I think it’s a lot of fun and looks more challenging than it actually is. I find the piper one more fun

I know what you mean. Perhaps not hardest in terms of the difficulty of the features, but definitely in the fact that is it a constant challenge. It’s just rocks the whole way down. You can’t take your eyes off the trail. Or perhaps it was just too early in the morning for weekend-I am definitely not a morning person 🤣

@@bikeandbeyond I find the corners after the rocks can catch you out as it’s easy for the front end to wash out on the gravel on the turns.
