I know for a fact that it's magic music, As well.... I've been playing guitar ,mandolin , and the suchlike fer A minute now... Crazily enough my hands are wearing out from construction , I am a builder. I was giving up on music and then I found the smoke and now I can play everyone of their songs just not very good. There's so many it's in yourself out. I'm gonna see him in Bozeman in a couple of weeks and I'm up here in Idaho and I found them in South Carolina. I hope I can get him to sign my martin... The music is awesome. My guess is they are thinking like I am- repeating the same words in a lyric and then the same lyrics throughout the song kills the song. With 10 minutes work to add actual lyrics this would be killer

It is a video like this that makes it possible to resurrect the beautiful thing called Southern Rock The untampered pure sound of good down home music! Little Richard would be proud ! I am an old fart that embraced this sound from it's infancy ! There is no substitute for it ,it has been missing for far to long! No mass produced pretty boys, no mass contaminated exec influence just down home love of people, culture and soul moving music. damn this is good shit!

Unlike 90 percent of "music" these days, If you hear Blackberry Smoke music from a studio album, you can go to their concert and see it played without any tricks. I encourage anyone who gets the chance to see them to do so If you are older like I am, it will take you back to a time when a concert was about the music.

Little Richard was truly an OG and many thanks to BBS for the tribute! His were some of the first 45s I bought. He was so great that Pat Boone and Ricky Nelson would immediately cover his tunes for a specific audience :-)

I love this band ! The musicianship. The original material. The songs they cover. Charlie's vocal range is amazing. He can sing rock, blues, gospel, and honky tonk with a country twang. His voice reminds me of Ronnie Van Zant in some ways. Keep rocking boys !
