These guys are going the distance for sureeee!!! As a native myself I’m proud to see someone represent in the metal game once again🫡🧐🤘🏼. If they lean into war drums and play more flute with death dancers and shit fully lay into our culture they will become a reckoning in the game and on tour with behemoth at hell fest in no time! Just saw them with cattle decap and they absolutely stole the show. Black braid is by far my favorite new band and live up to the name game and hype.

As a long time Black Metal enthusiast, I have to definitely make a positive comment about this song and band. These are the types of artists that need to keep the flame burning of the old. What I mean by this is taking older ideas and keeping it still relevant when it comes to sound in particular. Even though this is all analog to digital recording, I might be wrong of course but it does deliver the type of analog buzz and atmosphere you would get back in the late 80s to late 90s with the equipment back then and does carry at the same time strong melody and just pure strumming skills. Elements from Gorgororth's old tunes are what I felt and heard right away with the album Under The Sign of Hell in particular. Getting to feeling, watching the video really shows that deep rooted earthly resemblance and connection we mostly have to nature or some of us at least try to that's a whole other conversation. I think if you understand that about Black Metal then you understand why it is an intensely deep trance it can be when listening to it. Brilliant!

Native American black metal makes a lot of sense. Black metal has always been about revering nature, expressing your spiritual power, and expunging the influence of foreign invaders who took something away from your people
