As a older Gen, I melts my heart seeing other folk Thanking the animal for giving its life to feed man, I my self it don't matter if i am fishing, hunting or what ever i am doing. I have always said prayer before and after. .... But the reason i am chiming in is i had a question for you. Have you every thought of using the ribs, neck from the skull down to the shoulders, and if you debone the meat using the leg bones as well... to make a Concentrated stock for freezing to make soups and stews....... It is just a thought. I just cut bones to fit in hugs stock pot and simmer for about 2.5 hours, than take bone out ( adding water as you boil to keep liquid up) Than strain stock through cheese cloth optional. and keep simmering till it is roughly 1/3 the left of liquid . Than i use cheap ice trays and freeze them than put 5 - 10 cubes in vac bag ........ Thanks for having a wonderful channel, you and the guys are amazing. Keep on keeping on
I'm grateful for what you do.im from the south and don't take anything for granted. I was raised to try anything once and I've found A LOT of things I'm willing to try. I drive a truck and your videos get me through hrs of being loaded and unloaded. Your channel is actually the only one I'm subscribing to right now
A bit of a suggestion u should make an unlisted video of the gutting/qaurtering out the animal and link it in the description for people who like that stuff such as I
WELL DONE .I LIKE TO CHILL DEER HEART OR LIVER IN A BOWL OF WATER IN THE FRIDGE OVERNITE.THEN BREAD IT WITH FLOUR SALT /PEPPER AND GARLIC POWDER OR BETTER YET,CRITTER GLITTER,THEN FRY IT UP. Love deer heart! I do mine in the slow cooker just like it was a roast, vegetables, beef bullion, onions an taters, 8 hours on low, fall apart deliciousness... 😋
I love your Mircal Blade knife set dude. They are supposed to be indestructible but that's definitely not the case. They also have a lifetime guarantee on them. I really enjoy your work. Thank you
Bread butter mixed herbs all smushed together to make a stuffing jam it in the ventricules roast in oven beautiful also great the next day with pickles and mustard on a sandwich
For all who haven't gotten the Critter Glitter, it's legit on any type of meat or vegetable. It's not too spicy and has a great mixture and balance of flavor.
Black buck and Axis is some of the best tasting deer meat, EAT GOOD ! I had some summer sausage made out of my last black buck it was the best. Looks like 100k subscribers coming up how about a subscriber deer hunt with the MULLET MAN .
I soak mine in salt water overnight then the next day cut all the fat off and into steaks like you did. Then I season up my flower and put them in flower to bread them and deep fry them. Then in the microwave mix redhot hot sauce and butter for your dipping sauce. It’s amazing
I seen a girl named Liza on RU-vid and she ate the heart right out of a tuna while it was still alive she is a beast I just had to put that out there I love your videos Man you definitely doing a killer job
Here in Central Florida where I'm at the deer are small but the heart is one of the best cuts of meat I would literally take that over a back strap we just throw it in the ziplock bag sliced up with a little bit of Dale's seasoning for a minute or two then we throw it on the grill for just a quick sautee literally just a minute or two on each side do not overcook this meat and it is amazing!!!
Keep in mind this is a cook at camp we usually eat the heart before we even skin it out after the field dress! Much love brother keep doing what you doing!!
Also when I said a minute or two I was playing the safe side we literally usually do about a minute on each side sometimes it less depending on the heat
I would honestly take the heart over the back straps. I lay my hearts open and season then real good with cajun seasoning and Bold and Spicy A1. Then chop up onions and jalapenos and put on it, then close it back up and wrap it in foil. Put that sucker off to the side when you are grilling so it can cook without burning. Turns out pretty good.
Me and a buddy cooked some whitetail heart in little bite size pieces and I have to tell ya I liked it better than back strap and the inner loins most tender meat I've ate
Best cut of meat in my opinion. I usually butterfly it and fillet out the valve pieces. Make it into about 3 steaks. Grill medium rare and finish with a little bit of lemon.
Always season and then sear the meat first before adding your onions and butter!! If you’re worried about the meat over cooking just sear it off and remove it from the pan. You can add it back at the end!!
I hope you do a video when you process that black buck. I’ve never had that before. The meat looks pretty good. I’m sure it’s probably not much different than a whitetail
I used to trade pheasants to a friend for elk hearts and I cooked it just like liver and onions with brown gravy, with brown rice. In my old age, I need to eat for oats, so I substitute oats in stead of brown rice.
Awesome vid! I’ve always liked going with thin cuts on the heart! Sometimes if you do it thick it will be rubbery. But all depends on how you cook it! Keep up the hard work man!!
Holly sh*t why does lunkers have more subs than mullet man!!!!!! Everyone needs to hella share our buddy mullet man and blow him up!!! He is actually authentic and doesn't try hard he seems like he is himself and not trying to be someone he isn't.. Respect mullet man! You are great at hunting and making videos.. Keep up the great work brother I watch and thumbs up every video to support you man. Respect the grind.. Thanks mullet man for the great entertainment.. Cheers my dude!!!
I love your videos bro!. You are very entertaining. You keep me locked in through entire video. Keep up the good work Mulletman and remember EAT GOOD!!!!
Trim the fat off, boil it with salt, garlic and cayenne, cut it into cubes and remove any veins, then pickle with jalapenos like you would do eggs. Good snack.
Everyone I know that hunts deer stick their nose up at heart. I don't know how many times I've been told "I don't eat organs." When I tell them it's a muscle and not an organ, they don't want to hear it. More for me!
cool video, looks like a great recipe. a favorite dish of mine is simply, chicken fried gizzards and hearts. love the heart cause they are crispy on the outside and soft and chewy inside. maybe you could cube up the heart of an animal like the one u just harvested and chicken fry it. just saying. luv all your videos.
Ah man what I like to do with heart is to slice it thin and lay it in a pan, slice some onion and lay it over the steaks and then cover it in cambles cream of mushroom soup and bake it
Love the content man, good stuff, as always. I have a question though, how are you able to hunt these type of animals around this time of year, isn't there a season for them?
