Hi everyone, i was the driver of this car, i did make it out okay. Im here to clear up a few "fake" facts on here.... This was my 2007 ford Taurus with a 3.0 motor and original transmission for those saying otherwise..... There was no lean on my car that i bought from a individual not a car dealership... I bought this car cash out and have a clean texas title as well. They atill haven't determined what started the fire as my insurance is still doing a investigation. So all of you people that make false comments and accusations need to stop because your messing with people's lives here

That's why I keep a fire extinguisher🧯 in both my personal & work trucks. Ya never know when you'll be first on scene which is something I'm pretty familiar with.

Prayers...those Taurus were known for head gaskets, electrical issues, and prone to engine fires in early model years...hopefully ppl made it out safe

fly high, the 00-06 taurus was a real one😞

For anyone interested in this vehicle it was a 2006 Ford Tarus SE with only 197,013 Miles. Last saftey inspection was on 10/2/23 with its transmission rebuilt on 9/15/16 @ 154,775 miles and alternator replaced on 7/22/21. Unfortunatly it had a lein on and im sure would be declaired a total loss by insurance. I pray they had insurance and were unable to escape without injury.

I’m wondering if this was as result of that cruise control cut-out switch issue Ford had some years back? Being a pre-owned vehicle, who knows if the car had the fusible link upgrade from Ford? For anyone unfamiliar, look that up if you own an older Ford product. I am sure happy no one was burned when that car ignited.

I never liked getting them burned vehicles. They leave the bed stinking. I had a Lincoln town car years ago that was in an accident and they put it out and sure enough when I got back on the highway that sucker lit up again. 🤦‍♂️ I quickly got off the exit and shook it off the bed so they can put it out with water. looking like ghost rider going down the highway 😂😂😂
