Karmic Overload is a thing where if Cole maxes out his karma meter for either good or bad karma (the thing they said about his powers increasing based on his moral axis, like Shadow the Hedgehog lol), he can trigger a state where he glows and crackles with electricity and temporarily has unlimited energy. It is indeed the thing he did to turn the tables on Alex at the end of the animation before he turned on his Bio-Leech and absorbed Alex instead of getting infected himself. Seen people wonder why they didn't drop numbers for the Beast's big explosion in the verdict, but they already gave strength numbers for both in the analyses, and even just Cole's E=mc^2 forcefield makes his electricity stronger than anything Alex has survived, even the nukes. It's a very common misconception even among Prototype fans that Alex is unable to regenerate on his own, but biomass doesn't actually decide the extent of Alex's regeneration, just its speed. He had to eat that crow after the nuke left him a puddle in order to reform and get away fast enough, not because he wouldn't have healed otherwise. Kevin Rivera was indeed Dimitri! Paul Guyet is also not new however, as he was actually also Silver Surfer and Discord, which i believe makes him the first DB voice to act in three episodes in a row? fun regardless Transformers canon is a huge mess when it comes to making sensible composite versions for Death Battle and other versus stuff, so Frieza vs Megatron could actually end up a huge stomp for either of them, no one really knows for sure. I and most people I've talked to expect Death Battle to primarily stick to what's called G1 Transformers, which was also sort of the case for Optimus (but with outdated DB rules), and generally makes the most logical sense. However, even within that, there are IDW comics to take into account too, as well as Japanese G1 content which isn't guaranteed to be used or discarded either. I really hope it is included though, as Megatron gains a golden super form exactly like Frieza's in the japanese stuff. Feels like an obvious slam dunk haha.
Neat! I wasn't thinking Alex regenerating health so much as energy, but then now that I think about it they did explain it as health, didn't they? I have a friend who's a big Transformers fan and she says that unless they do a composite Megatron and pull from every last corner of the franchise (she's explained before that every official media is canon including crossovers and commercials, just not the *same* canon) then Frieza has it in the bag because, to put it in her words, "Listen. I adore Megatron but he really is just a charismatic dictator who happens to be a giant robot with a gun."
