Ahsoka Ren , thanks for that,only talking about his privileges is for me a poverty certificate.If you are an actor in such a political movie you have to give your attidue to racism to the people and should be prepared to these kind of questions. I am a big fan of Adam Driver but this is very very much dissapointing, sorry to say that.

Mary Völker no need to apologize. As a black person, I too am a little disappointed. But I don't usually put celebrities on a pedestal when it comes to matters like this. I love when celebrities call out problematic things, but I also don't care if they don't. At least he's acknowledged his privilege.

Spike Lee is a true artist. Every time he speaks about his films and the issues of those films he puts his heart and soul out there. So many directors are pretentious, but he strikes at the heart without losing any integrity or intelectual meriment.

John David Washington was a producer on Book of Eli. A film with Mila Kunis. Spike Lee worked with Bernie Mac twice. Bernie did Guess Who with Ashton Kutcher. Spike Lee discovered Mekhi Phifer. Beast! I remember walking to Harvard Square to watch the movie "She's Gotta Have It." I lived less than a half a mile from Harvard Square, the view from my bedroom window was Harvard Stadium. Adam Driver would be the only reason for me to see this film and as much as I adore him, I question wether I’ll actually ever see it. I hate the thought of giving Spike Lee any support. His rants are so hypocritical considering just a few years ago he was hanging out with Trump at social events.
