Somehow, I just knew this is how it was going to shake out - coming down to weight preference. For me, the same factors were at play in choosing the Blackbird. Either way, Blackland razors are top-notch! Have a great Sunday, Chris!

Great shave, Chris! Interesting that there’s very little difference between those… I seem to find people claiming differences between timeless products in the SS vs Ti options and Wolfman too. Nice to see the Melon and Mimosa out there for the Stallion! He hasn’t been on video for quite a while 😕

In terms of the shave, they both feel very nice to me. The main difference for me is the feel due to the weight. If I were choosing between the two, that's how I'd decide. I'm sure the Stallion has been busy working and golfing. He'll be back:)

You make a great point on the SE style verses the DE style blades they are Night & Day difference in feel on the face and in how long hey last. I prefer the SE style & Vector is the people’s Champ

Great comparison! I went with ordering the ti based just on the weight. I am used to aluminum razors, and don't like the heavy steel, though the steel Vector still seems relatively light compared to stainless DE's

any difference in drag between the titanium and stainless? i noticed aluminum razors seem to have a ton of drag if youre not super slicked up. I wonder which one is more worth the money of the two.

Man I would love to own this razor, it's an amazing design. My only problem is that every artist club blade (feather, Schick and Kai) all feel like a rusty saw across my face. They are all so toothy and rough. It'll be a Blackbird for me.

Nice! Even though I have a lot of light razors, I prefer more weight because of the tremor I have to contend with. It'll be interesting to see the open comb version, which I didn't know they had. Maybe they'll have the kinks worked out of the Era soon and you'll be giving that one a test run. I did use A&E's Kaizen which was a pretty good scent and had no problems with at all. It seems like the only time I run into issues with a soap, it's the ones that have a cologne like scent.

One thing is Ti is more durable and corrosion resistant. One needs to be a little more careful and keep their SS razors dry to avoid tea stains. Although I haven’t tried the Ti, I think you’re right and can’t go wrong with either.

Nice comparison. I'm looking forward to your review on the open comb for the Vector. The stainless Vector will probably be my next razor. Side question: If you were to shave your head and face back to back would you use double the soap or would your normal lather suffice?

Super comparison shave Chris! Personally, I am not in the market for a high end razor, but if I was, then I would prefer the stainless steel Vector. The heft and the lower cost of the SS Vector would be my reasons to choose it over the titanium. Have a great day!

I dunno. I think the direction generally is to moisturize. Some of the old fashioned barbers used to slap powder on your neck though, that's for sure:)

Talcum powder is not good for you. And as IAMCBD says, it helps very much to user a moisturiser post shave.
