Hi there! We selected Belkin USB C LAN because that's the LAN adaptor we use. Realistically, you can use any ethernet to USB-C LAN adaptor and select that instead. I'm not sure what you mean about configuring the signal of the ATEM Software Control though.

With this particular piece of equipment you are unable to record internally. You are able to attach separate recorder. If that is a route that you are looking to go then you are able to record the program mix (this loops out of the top SDI) as well as 1 of your other inputs. The latter can be assigned and pushed out in the 1 aux out.

Yes that is possible. If you click into the audio menu at the bottom you have access to a digital audio board. In that menu you are able to toggle on and off audio from each individual audio and video source.

Hi. The best solution that I have found so far is the Blackmagic Web Presenter. This allows you to take a HDMI or SDI video signal into your computer as a USB Camera. Once your computer sees your video source as a USB Camera you can record it with QuickTime or push it our as a web stream on what ever platform you choose.

@@tataisaac9994 That's correct. The SDI camera is connected to the SDI In on the presenter and outputs from USB. This allows your computer to recognize whatever is plugged into the presenter as a webcam allowing you to use the camera for streaming or recording. I don't know the specific case they used but it looks like a typical Pelican or Nanuk brand case. Just get the measurements of all the gear you want to case in the case and then get a case that is about 2" or so larger in all dimensions. They can come with cubed tear out foam so you can customize them for your gear.

What I have learned... I've changed the 'System Setting' within the unit to 1080p59.94 (though I prefer 29.97). Since the unit doesn't have built in scallers, the cameras and everything coming into the switcher must be at the same size (1080) and matching framerate (59.94). The computer in our case is dictating that setting on the switcher. When the Cameras were 29.97, I had the computer going through a scaller to compensate for the switcher itself not having a scaller to accept a difference in the input). I used the Decimator MX-HD scaler with my Macbook Pro 13" mid 2012. After a few days, I chose to take the approach that I mentioned as a solution for you.... so again, change to 1080p59.94, plug in the computer. Boom. ** BONUS NOTE : If you want the switcher to see your monitor as A SECOND DISPLAY, so you have more real estate, use a BMD BiDirectional converter, plug in your HDMI from the laptop to the IN on the converter, Send your HDMI OUT into a desktop monitor, and use the converters SDI OUT to go into the ATEM switcher (into SDI 5, 6, 7, or 8) This way, you can set up the monitors to play content full screen... and... be able to SEE YOUR COMPUTER CONTENT LARGER on your desktop monitor instead of relying on seeing the feed on the small Multiview screen *** Glad to help !!!! - Brian Kyle Atkins

You would need to do a Supersource for Picture in Picture. On the right hand side you can select Supersource and tweak your settings there.

Hi Scott, It sounds like your SDI to HDMI converter is the issue. I would suggest using a different converter as a test. We use Decimators or DAC 70's which allow us to control if the audio is being sent inline.
