They used to sing this during their training to work on harmonies and such...the guy who runs this show over there JYP knew about it and asked them to perform this live. This was only a couple of months or so after their debut back in 2016 and they absolutely killed. Lisa and Jennie wrote the added rap at the end. Modern Day Greek Sirens

Jennie acted in HBO's The Idol. She did well in a terrible show! Left to right is Jisoo, born 1995 . Then Jennie, born 1996. Next is Rosé, born 1997. Last is Lisa, born 1997. Jennie and Lisa wrote the freestyle lyrics when they were trainees. Good reaction. Thank you. More Blackpink, please.

ouh one more thing, they're 4 members group and you did guessed LISA correctly tho 5:57 well actually that's not any part of the original lyrics, but i won't say they free-styling those particular rap verses, since it was more like properly written by both JENNIE and LISA (the 2 official rappers of BLACKPINK) during their 'trainee' era, especially because they oftenly loves to sing that song at the time

For the haters who said they can’t sing, show this. Their harmonies are so good and their individual personality shows through. You can also tell who’s voice is who. They’re the best. I think this the best cover of Miguel’s song. I like the cadences of Lisa’s rap and also the back n forth between them. Freestyle gals.💪🏽👑👏🏽🔥🙌🏽🤟🏽❤️

Depending on the agency, usually when they record songs K-pop idols have to alter their voice. They have to match the theme and image created by their agency that will identify them as their group. So when they cover songs, that is the time we can hear their real voice. And yes, Jennie and Lisa wrote the rap part in Sure Thing and added it :)

7:26 oh btw, the girls still have 4 more upcoming world tour ENCORE concert destinations and it's all in US, in detail : - Saturday, August 12nd at METLIFE STADIUM in NEW JERSEY (starts from 8.30 pm) - Friday, August 18th at ALLEGIANT STADIUM in LAS VEGAS (starts from 8.30 pm) - Tuesday, August 22nd at ORACLE PARK in SAN FRANCISCO (starts from 8.30 pm) - Saturday, August 26th at DODGER STADIUM in LOS ANGELES (starts from 8.30 pm) so in case if you wanna see them live for the very first time then better save some bucks buddy cuz them BP's concert ticket could be quite pricey (depends on seat's positioning or depends on when will you gonna buy it from now on) and also can be sold out hella fast

They just dropped a new single, "The Girls" with an animated music video. It's animated because the song was released for their mobile game, so it uses the game's avatars of the girls. Video is adorable, song is a banger. Also, yes, they act too. Jisoo has been in a k-drama, and Jennie was on the US show "The Idol." They all have also released several solo songs each.

Blackpink girls only had 2 songs Whistle and Boombayah at this time 7 years ago and did not have any other songs. So when they were asked to perform another song. They came up with their cover of Miguel they had put together on one of their YG monthly evaluations. Jennie and Lisa wrote in the rap. It is original. The money shot to get to debut.

just gonna send you my own suggestion since my fellow BLINKS seems kinda late to noticing this post aight... lets go with either one of their latest hits such as : - SHUT DOWN - PINK VENOM A way to get to know them better? Well they got a documentary film called 'BLACKPINK LIGHT UP THE SKY' (over an hour long documentary, but it's not on ytb tho) or you guys could watch a much shorter documentary type of video such as their most recent mini series called 'BPM ROLL' go start from the first episode and eventually y'all would be able to catching up with the most recent episode of that show 🙏😎

It's also noted that the members seem more interested in fashion than in their music careers. BLACKPINK are moew like influencers rather than singers.
