I am So Pleased,Happy,to See it running again ,instead been on the back of a low loader ( tht was sad to see),trust me it was sad to see ,but So happy it's running again, can't wait to see it in person again
It's similar, it's called a "standard" tram as it's a fairly standard design of tram throughout many uk towns and cities. Sadly the one in Ipswich Museum isn't an operational example
Terror tram looks amazing east anglia really bulding up a nice collection of blackpool trams hopefully will see the terror tram return to Blackpool as i might be wrong but as far i was aware it was loan for a few years. Wonder what the future for 726 is my driving instructor was asking if its still around as its the one he remembers going on i knew it moved here but was not sure on its future to if it will run again
726 should be back in time. It's being restored by the tram at Lowestoft. I don't know how long 634 is at Lowestoft for, but certainly at least a couple years. It's good to see it running
I think the problem with trolleybuses is the wires and the fact they can't overtake each other particularly easily. Certainly these days that could be got over with ease I'm sure.
Very true, although Blackpool did have a trolleybus on hire some years ago (in the 1980s I believe) but beyond being looked at and moved around the rigby road depot it didn't do anything as we obviously didn't have the trolleybus wires. They decided to keep with the Trams and diesel buses
