The Armenian Kebab shop is on Harrowside in South Shore Blackpool. Established in 1978, it has long been regarded as the best in town, mainly due to the friendly service & home made ingredients.
The business is cash only and does not do telephone orders.

I’m surprised that it’s taken you so long to discover the Armenian Kebab House. I think it’s Blackpool’s first kebab house opened in 1977 and owned by the same family throughout.

I wish more restaurants like this could thrive. Everything is just frozen and heated in microwave etc. I stopped eating out because the absolute lack of quality and high prices of most restaurants. Looks delicious.

The best kebab house in blackpool by the best blackpool you tuber. Enough said. Content is superb from the dark side streets to the bright lights of the illuminations. Stephen Cheatlty take a bow. Just a word to all the people saying 40 minutes is too long to wait. You have to remember that they are a very small truly independent business that has not changed the way they operate since they began, apart from the number in the window collection system that makes the place look pretty quiet. Before this happened ther was a constant queue of people snaking around the shop and outside from when they opened until closing time. This place IS the Mecca of kebabs, they are the best in the Country hands down. Mac master needs to try it!! now in place

Not had one from there, but my favourite kebabi is the one near Funny Girls, Chiken Tikka kebab chilli sauce salad. Awesome 👍🏿

This alone would make me want to visit Blackpool again, l was last there two years ago and the giant mirror ball was still undergoing refurbishment, great to see it up and running again!!. Kind of fitting really, the kebab shop opened in '78 the height of the disco era so what could be better than having a giant mirror ball near by as a tribute...I must be the first to notice such a thing,

Sounds fantastic quality Stephen, never had Armenian. Produce, but do like the odd kebab. I’m not offay with a lot of roads at south shore, but. Will remember this. There’s. Mega lots. @@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool back in the day pretty much all the kebab shops were Greek and they would serve homemade chilli sauce hot straight from the stove and ladled straight onto the kebab with white cabbage, carrot and onions. The pitta bread would also be charred on the grill beforehand. That's the sort of thing I'm after and this shop looks like the one.

My granddaughter introduced me to Harrowside fish and chip shop years ago. Fish and chips nice but mushy peas are not. The MacMaster wouldn't like them so don't think he should try them if he's in the area
