Find this jewel on the North East part of West Virginia. Excellent hiking and miles of biking available here along well kept roads. Driving through, we prefer the southern loop, sites 31-65. This time of year at Sept 17, our site, #60, gets more sun. Site lengths are available online.
Very clean and dare I say NICE bathrooms. Good job State Park folks! I would definitely come back to this campground. Although it is the most expensive State Park we have ever stayed in.

Yay!!! Good to see you guys at BWF SP! 😊 You are correct about the bathhouse - they just freshened those last year - new fixtures, doors, re-finished the floors and fresh paint. The loop you guys stayed on was mostly tent sites until they recently installed electric hookups - the other loop to the right of the ranger station check-in was always known as the RV loop. My sister and family have camped there for almost 40 years! Good to see you guys hiked to Lindy! The road with potholes you referred to goes to a cool creek ( small swim area and small waterfall if you climb the rocks and follow the creek to the right and and if you cross the creek (4WD only, bike, hike) it's Canaan Loop Road. Quite a long road. Thanks so much for adding the info for the sites at BWF SP! Looking forward to seeing your next video of Patapsco SP!

Gotcha! Well they did a great job of updating the bathhouse. It is so very nice. That upper loop has so much more shade. Glad you notice the changes. Good thing I didn't take that Canaan Loop then. We liked that hike and view at Lindy Point. Thanks for the insight.

I started watching your video and immediately thought tomyself "why is the camper facing the wrong way?" Then you said "the camper is facing the wrong way" LOL I had the same situation with my 2109 a couple of weeks ago at Glacier NP with a corner pull thru campsite that could be entered from either side. Figured that out really quick and turned the whole thing around. Keep up the good work, I enjoy your videos - especially your "how to" videos.

@Pawoodsman, we stayed at Canaan Valley State Park campground in August. So surprised how quiet and peaceful it was! Great place to sit in a chair and watch the stars at night! Very little light pollution. 😊
