Blade and Sorcery just put out The End update and it's the full release of Blade and Sorcery. The long awaited Gem Hunt update. It's Blade and Sorcery 1.0. After all these years being one of the best VR games without ever being an actual VR game, just a VR melee combat sandbox with VR melee gameplay so good it felt like a game. Well now it has looting, exploration, progression, the whole thing. And overall... yeah it's a pretty good VR game.

Bed wetting is a serious but very manageable problem. I beat the new update today, and I gotta say it was so worth it. I full spec'd into mind (slow motion), Gravity, and physical (cuz being a wookie is fun). I started with a sword and ended without any weapons and just punching people into low orbit as a gravity battle mage. I love the new upgrades SOOOOOOOOO much

@@davidlewis2171 for real, even with base gravity you can slam things into walls repeatedly (using two hands or a staff), but when you spec entirely into it, you can throw people into the air and slam them, or use the staff to turn enemies into literal weapons. I mean the final upgrade is literally an anti gravity bubble that can also have time slow on top.

Gravity and mind is a hell of a power trip, you can fly around with gravity, ignoring fall damage and going **UP** while you throw people around with telekinesis

For some reason I have had a different NPC experience. A lot of the npcs I encounter are actually very difficult, to the point of disarming me all together. I had very little experience with the buggy mess, and they would actually chase me.

The golem fight was legitimately the most fun I’ve had playing a game in a very long time. Each part of that fight was a surprise. From the golem awakening to realizing I could climb it as it tried to kill me.

4:10 Someone has made a mod (several actually) that increases the quality of Skyrim's chickens (Chicken Replacer and More Chicken Variants by Mihail). I would be shocked but this is Skyrim. And with VRIK HIGGS PLANCK they are fully pettable.

Throwing stuff feels so much tighter now, Used to watch plates and cups just sail right by heads at the speed of light, now, they actually collide with my target. It doesn't feel like you have to really really aim too, you can wave you hand in the general direction of a guy while you have something held with telekinesis and watch your mundane item become a projectile, flinging tables or other breakables has got to be one of the best ways to deal with armored enemies who are being a nuisance.

there's a 6 gig bugfix patch today, and in the notes they do mention the NPCs were "lobotomized" by some bugs they had ironed out when it was in U11 that came back when they moved to U12. so I guess they're aware of the issue and working on it.

I knew I was a psycho awhile ago. I found out you can stick one of the edges of the double edged spear in the ground, levitate people above it, and then roleplay as vlad the impaler. Oh, and don't forget to imbue the spear with fire first

Habie mentions the AI being bad at the start, the AI level is set depending on the faction with The Eye having the "Hard" preset. The "Very Hard" is not used to my knowledge

Idk if u figured this out while u were playing but when they say grab fireballs with telekinesis they mean ones that were shot at you. You can grab it and throw it back. You can also do it with arrow but it's hard even with slomo

Blade and Sorcery has become more than an archspellsword sandbox, and i played 2 hours in CH without even noticing the time had passed, i wish pulling people off ledges were easy, i was closer to pulling myself up using this bandits leg as support than pulling her down but i managed to yank her over the edge, i think grabbing the legs of an npc should make them more unsteady than it does, but i dont know if this is a perk or not.

i beat the game today after a couple hours, they fleshed gravity out so well that it's now my favourite sorcery, it's all about movement and that's perfect for vr, just started on a fire build so let's hope that's as good as gravity

Pro tip for the golem, using a sword is substantially worse to break the crystals on the golem itself, using a 1-handed mace makes it so much easier

My man you could always control your own fireball with your hand. The skill just lets you grab ENEMY fireballs to then redirect them to wherever you want.

In one of the boats(pretty sure on the island baron is on) there is a falchion, which is better than any sword you can get now.(might not be there until you get like tier 3 shop tho)
