Funny thing the 1st possible weapon is a gun (found in either a safe (pistol) or/and mini fallout shelters (rifle)), the 1st weapon to pick up is a hidden melee pipe weapon then the walking stick.
GOG is not just an off-brand steam. They are owned by CD Projekt and are one of the last bastions for finding games without any DRM attached so you can install and play them without launchers or CD keys (with exceptions that usually involve needing a CD key to access multiplayer features)
@@ticklord Sure, if you actually use the launcher. You can just... not do that. Or better yet, install a game through the launcher, then uninstall the launcher and notice the game still runs. There is no DRM even when installing through the launcher. Try the same with the vast majority of Steam games and you'll spot the difference pretty quickly. Or you can keep being confidently wrong on the internet.
@@TheJasspher is this like an elaborate ragebait? i only know of it because i bought the wrong key for a game on kinguin once because who would know that these three letters meant its on a different launcher. and i hesitaded so much to download this launcher. i really thought this was a scam tbh, and even though i played for like 60 hours i still dont know where GOG came from, if its totally legit, and what GOG even means lol
also when the hell did people start calling it "gawg"? I've been using GOG for like over a decade and I feel like people always referred to it as an acronym, not this new god awful phonetic pronunciation
GoG are actual heroes for the work they do in making old games accessible. They write wrappers for old games that make them run fine on modern systems and then sell the games on their store with the wrappers included so they run out of the box. They're a company that's really worth your time
I only wish they had a US based sales option, cause my bank fights me every time I try to make a purchase from them Other than that though, awesome company doing awesome things
@@walterroux291if we’re talking about game buying platforms there’s also very based itch io But they are purely web and you straight up download the game you bought and run it without a launcher on your PC
@@WutalFr34k its not, GOG stands for Good Old Games and its totally legit. Its made by the Polish dudes from CD Projekt Red who made The Witcher Series and... Cyberpunk 2077, which was probably why you got that Cyberpunk 2077 key that lead you to that place.
I’m surprised there’s still PC gamers who don’t know what GOG is. It’s one of the most popular game launchers up there with steam & epic, just barely falling behind them in terms of content.
I think its crazy how good Habie is at hiding the fact that he is that one dense and slow friend everyone has, like we love you but how the fuck do you not know what TF2 is.
@@bcav712 no, he knows, this was a example that happened to me, from a gamer friend, but I used it to compare it to the fact that habie didn't know what GoG was lol, like sure whatever who cares, but gog is pretty famous, even more if you know cdprojectred, which you probably do since the Witcher 3 and cyberpunk and all that stuff
@@bcav712 he knows, i just made a example that happened to me! the comparison comes from the fact he didnt know what gog was, which is crazy but also who cares
GOG is not an offbrand steam, they are a DRM-free storefront. They are owned by the company that owns CD Projekt Red, the Wticher/Cyberpunk 2077 company. GOG is a great store, don't be afraid of it
How could anyone don't know that yet is beyond me. I mean, it's not obscure AT ALL, ffs CD Project Red is not an indie studio from nowhere. That's crazy.
I love how this mod disproves a popular belief that Fallout simply couldn't work without it's iconic American feel. No, it absolutely can work without it. Fallout can, and will work without pipboys, power armor, brotherhood of steel, deathclaws etc and the fact London is so good and interesting only proves it.
Written English is such a mess. After the post apocalypse they'll be speaking gibberish whenever they try to read anything in the UK. They'll reinvent Welsh just trying. Just you watch.
MEANWHILE: FG-42 sees Habie's WW2 Gun tier list. "AM I NOTHING TO YOU!?" Btw, in the fallout universe the bombs dropped on October 23, 2077; so it isn't 1940s London - but I agree that the Amazon joke is a bit on the nose. Also, If I understand correctly from what I've come across in game thus far, the reason there are so many WW2 era guns around is because at some point due to ongoing societal collapse, the U.K. armory was opened up; and those were what was in large enough stockpiles to survive in numbers. There are also a number of post-ww2 weapons I've come across, most notably the automatic rifle based on the EM-2 prototype rifle.
I've been using GOG for, like, 15 years now. Where Steam is Valve's client, GOG is CD Projekt Red's. Through GOG you get to actually own your games (instead of being issued a revoke-able license), they're DRM-free, and GOG actually does fixes on older games to get them operational on newer rigs before they initially sell them. I buy from GOG instead of Steam in most cases. And they don't even pay me to shill them like this. I like them that much.
"I am losing my mind, I have been in this cesspit for an hour" That's a perfect recreation of being in London, last time I was there it took an hour and fifteen mins to travel 1000ft down a road
1. This is a mod made by a team not affiliated with the company that owns the Fallout IP. Bethesda's terms of service allow them to make the mod and release it like they did. Fallout: London isn't a spin-off because it isn't an official project. 2. GOG isn't off brand Steam. It's a platform dedicated to releasing older video-games that are made to function on the latest computers and games without Digital Rights Management (DRM). When you purchase a game on GOG, it means you actually own the game. Buying a game off of Steam is technically just buying a license to download and play.
7:11 Whoever thought to reference amazon, probably just heard the better way to spell it, fyi I read it Value-zon aswell. But I think they were aiming for the vault-tec idea of Vault-zon.
Counterpoint: Steam lets me play games on Linux though. And the way I sometimes hop between distros and computers, that cloud save feature is pretty nice.
I actually felt home sick playing this game even though I live in the UK and understood pretty much all the pop culture references, fictional brands etc. Had a blast but missed Fallout America, though loved everything the mod showcased. Still searching for that Constable Cruel outfit that I keep seeing on those 3000 A.D posters and comics. A fun little Judge Dredd reference inspired by the Brit Cit judges from 2000 A.D comics.
It's good that you made this. Especially that you compared it to an expansion and not just a mod. There's much speculation why Xbox doesn't offer another studio a Fallout spinoff. The only thing I can come up with is Bethesda convinced them that they're the only studio that can do Fallout justice. The more attention Fallout London gets, and the more it is lauded the more the execs will be convinced that's not the case and we might actually get a new game before we're old and grey. So good on you. Also, this is the first video of yours I've seen. I found it entertaining and amusing.
Ive just cleared out covent garden and theyve nailed the layout of the shop / entertainment space in the middle. Just missing the buskers and entertainers lol.
I’ve been on RU-vid for over a decade, and you are my favorite RU-vidr! You’ve got entertaining skills I haven’t seen out of a small channel in a while!
I doubt there will be VR conversion. Fallout 4 VR is based on older version of the engine that lacks some crucial functionality later patches of the main game got.
This man wanting a Le Enfield. My first experience with one was it kept jamming (didn't even get to shoot it because of that) so went back to my buddy's German Mauser '38.
Despite the bugs and crashes I have really enjoyed Fallout London. The worst bug I've encountered it how things that should scrap to steel instead scrap to aluminum, and shipments of steel disappear when you try to use them. Scrapping a shipment of steel turns it to aluminum. Because of this I've blown off settlement building, but hopefully they will fix it in the next update. As for the crashes, just save often.
When watching other people playthrough this game I noticed they all had trouble figuring out where to go in maps. Level/map design is an art and a skill.
i'm having just the worst day (one among many), yet you just made me laugh very much out loud with that intro, which i've never heard before. well done, sir. well done. (and also thank you...a couple of minutes of relief.)
There is an uncanny valley between a good youtuber and a great youtuber...i have no idea who you are but for me in this moment, your endfield headshot made you a great youtuber.
Thank you for your sympathy habie, As an Xbox and Play Station player , I yearn for the shank simulator Edit: Grease Gun in D TIER! IT Should at least make high C - low B Other wise the Tier list is Infallible, just put the BAR Higher P.S I'm sorry, you were right I did need to tell you were wrong.
