i had the rrt same bike i year older exact same but there was just a colour change ..i did exctly the same thing using a to lift front end up to change fork seals cracked underneath headlight fairing .it was a doddle changing fork seals .i had a nightmare removing front mudguard also .in end just kept soaking it in wd40 over day or so.worst i had was changing downpipes for stainless .that wasnt fun at all.good luck with your project bud

Hi mate... Thanks for the comment. You're not wrong about the front mudguard! What a flaff... I'm not brave enough to do the seals myself so they are off being done. Luckily, the slight pitting in the stanxions can be cleaned and doesn't interfere with the fork travel (causing more bust seals). Hopefully I won't need to change the downpipes but the more I dig the more things I discover need doing. Keeps me out of trouble I suppose. :)

I've got the rrx 99 reg, lovely bike to ride and did a complete renovation/upgrade after owning it a few years. Mods include: Carbon fibre, front mudguard, hugger, undertray, yoke protector, frame protectors. Clear rear light lense. WP road/track shock Wavey brake discs (massively improve inititial bite in wet weather) Ohlins steering damper Polished swingarm Gilles titanium rearsets All nuts/bolts stainless steel Blue silicone rad hoses Single seat cover No rear pegs For years it was my dream to own one, one day went to local bike shop for a headlight bulb and came out with the blade lol, the 16" front wheel suited my riding style and although i don't ride anymore i still own the bike, great fun. ❤️🇬🇧

Thanks for the comment and great update about your amazing bike. Was the same with me.. You sure put a lot of love into yours. Hope you get to ride it soon… Was the bike I dreamed of when I was younger but could never have been able to afford the insurance. I’m looking forward to the day, even though it seems far off, that I finally get to ride my dream bike 😊🇬🇧

Rear stand was on… It snapped a small piece of my fairing as well!! Pis*sed me off big time!! Never been able to get it to work so need to look at other options!
