Blade Runner (1982) Soundtrack [Full vinyl] 

When my mum showed me this film I fel in love with it and the relaxing music. And I've got the the record now.

I wasn't old enough to watch Blade Runner when it was first released, I was 11 years old... I managed to get a ticket by acting much older than I was, and I'm so glad I did, I never forgot the experience. It left an indelible impression on me. I remember thinking wow, is this the future of film making or is this the future? The two seemed to blur, I'd never seen anything like this before or since... It's more than a film, it's a timeless masterpiece!

This looks like the authentic 1982 vinyl record from when the movie had debuted in movie theaters in 1982. But I know that it's not. This is the limited 2018 repressed edition of the original 1982 soundtrack and score by Vangelis. This sounds very good. Like the digitally remastered version from the 1994 C.D. Blade Runner is my favorite science-fiction movie. Rest In Peace Vangelis.

Im a big movie fan and I dont know what it is exactly why Blade Runner (+2049) stands out so much for me. I guess its the mix between the uniquely dystopian cyberpunk setting/scenery, the amazing soundtrack that captures the general theme of every scene, inbetween and beyond, perfectly and the ultimate question of the movies: "what makes us human?" and "does it matter?" aka the urge to find meaning in our existance. Everyone who participated in those masterpieces (based on Philip K. Dicks equally amazing novel ofc.) obviously made history. But Im amazed that people all around the world share similar thoughts, experiences and awe for and with the movies and the posed questions, thus participating in a huge, philosophically connected, generations and time transcending discussion. Maybe its only me, but whenever I experience "Blade Runner" in any way (movies, OST, discussions) I feel connected to fellow Blade Runner enjoyers out there.

I remember getting this out of the Library and listening to it waiting for the opening credits soundtrack. It never materialised. Still, "One more kiss dear" is a absolute gem. Vangelis's _homage_ the Ink Spots, Al Bowlly, The Mills Brothers _& hoc genus omne_. "Just as every autumn, Leaves fall from the trees. Tumble to the ground and «die ee eye». So in the Springtime like sweet memories, they will return as will «I ee ee eye»."

I'm not sure I'll ever move on past this soundtrack. It just vibes in a special sort of way. Inspired generations of synth enthusiasts as well.

Funny, the label mirrors on the cover so it looks sometimes the cigar is real. Great Music, very good digitized!

Even though it seems like half of these tracks aren't in the film, this is the version of the soundtrack I prefer.

The visual experience that Mr Scott gave us, is, in my opinion the most magnificent thing the eye could ever capture. But this would not have been so had it not been for the soundtrack alongside it. I believe that Vangelis truly captured the essence of what Mr Scott wanted us to see and feel. Now that is the description of Genius if ever there was !

To me, this feels like the soundtrack version with movie dialogue is sacred music. I’ve heard versions without but they don’t compare. It just seems like the magic is lost with instruments only.

Vangelis was actually disappointed with his music for Blade Runner. It took years for the original soundtrack to come out.

soundtrack of blade runner is 90% of the movie, and blade runner is abut 50% completed movie, i enjoy everything about the movie and the movie itself is not short its long, yet still its not enough, we should see few more scenes, its just not enough ! for example we should see more of that world especially how things works in that world, like traffic, how food is being made and similar and it was a must to actually see replicants working hard on those planets so we can connect with them and understand better their suffering and being used we should also see them enjoy some simple but fun things we humans enjoy, like running through the rain, playing pool or i dont know driving car or something we should see more how painful for them is too be lonely and how much hurts them when they hear that their team counts one less, also to see them remembering some nice and fun time with those who were ''retired'' we are the same, we humans and replicants, as well as replicants humans also wish to live longer, to be free we are also slaves to work, just look what cats, lions and many other animals doing, sleeping the whole day, resting or playing while humans working a lot, we are owned by the government, we exist to feed those politicians, every of us is a slave to them and to work itself except those lucky and skilled ones who have nice jobs like sport or painting and they like what they do we are also created just like replicants and we also must obey rules and we are also being punished the hard way when doing something against the system, we both live wrapped in love and fear movie is amazing except its missing at least one hour of scenes like those i mentioned, we saw too little

I notice a very slight warping the disc in this video, not as bad as some 2049 vinyl discs. Do you notice the needle moving up and down slightly?

Does anyone know if the actual original sound track exists anywhere on the net? I played it to death back in the day and all these remixes sound weird to me.

I have the same vinyl, or at least, it seems it's the same... but mine doesn't have Tears in Rain on side b. The jacket has the same track listing, but the last 2 songs are something else. The final track is some oldie I don't recall, and the other one is really short and 100% NOT tears in rain... Was there a known issue with this release? Wtf is up with my copy?
