I'm very happy with the OB-XD, btw.. and it gets even awesomer with automation ! You can make it do things that no HW synth can do when you automate TF out of it. Still great sounds on the OB-X which is I assume fully automizable as well.

I've had OB-XD for a long time and there was no restriction when I downloaded it.

If your into vintage sounding VST I would get the Roland cloud ACB LEGEND SYNTHS or Diva the sound difference is very noticeable , the down side is you need a 2,000 $ + computer to take full advantage of all its features

Yeah ACB plugins are very unoptimized

But you can run a number of those plugins and use the computer for other tasks like video editing and so on.. AND it takes up less space.
