Thanks for this video. Gave me the encouragement I needed to get the spring back in place after cleaning instead of buying a new clipper. One extra easing step I found was to bend the pointed legs upwards using narrow nosed pliers. This makes the insertion of the square part of the spring under the tab so much easier - it's a breeze. Then bend the pointe legs back down with the same pliers to apply the pressure to the cutting plate.

Bro you are a life saver. I didn't realize that the middle of the spring actually gets tucked further underneath the stationary blades. I've been tucking it at the bottom of the moving blade that it attaches to, and not getting enough pressure. I was ready to give up after like 3 hours thank you so much.

Thanks, through your video I managed to save my device whose head split into pieces after failing: D. The hardest part was figuring out how to reposition the spring under the plastic hook. I found it helpful to use a long T-shaped screwdriver to press the spring with one hand, while spreading it on one side with the other hand.

I have a wahl model 9649 color shaver I have turned it on and opened the screws and the razor blade and after installing it it has a lot of sound and concussion and does not shave. Can you help restart it?
