Absolutely agree. His sensitivity is striking, and I found myself thinking more about him than the trial etc, for instance when he mentioned the system he and his wife worked out I felt he probably was a wonderful partner and family man, a supportive and loving dad, the “good” neighbor on the block, just a warm guy who exudes patience and tolerance and lovely human decency.

@@Jftb-fx6sy I disagree, I think the obnoxious and condescending behavior of Prior, down to coming back to the jury after they already ruled and telling them they got it wrong and Chad Daybell was the victim, did impact and will impact a jury. The way a lawyer acts and if they get the jury to trust them, is a huge part of the defense. He needed them to see him questioning the prosecutions findings, but in a respectful way. Blake, I appreciate, more than I can say, your sincere message about the ultimate goodness of people. Some of us, too, have been through hellish experiences, and your belief that good people joining together can combat the devastating effects of the bad in this world is extremely comforting and believable. Thank you.

It's amazing to discover that the jury felt the same way as we did in the chat. As we had access to information the jury did not, I wondered if the chat was tainted. I now understand the jury was disseminating the information exactly as we did in the chat. I watched most of the Lori Daybell trial and watched every moment of the Chad Daybell trial. In the chat, we worried about the jurors and how they were processing the information. Now we know we were all on the same page. What a wonderful interview. God bless this jury. Thankful for the prosecution, all the various law enforcement agencies, and many more who devoted years of their life to bring justice for Tammy, Tylee, and JJ. And God bless the families of these wonderful people who lost their lives way too soon.

I really like your coverage of this case. You let the people talk and don’t interrupt. Plus, your facts are true and you don’t sensationalise the case. Do you know how Chad Daybell reacted when the horrendous photos of the children were shown? Did he look away? Did he cry? Did he react at all? Thanks for your work on this case.

Blake talked about how he was surprised that Prior/Chad had "no defense/mitigation and Prior's unprofessional courtroom behavior, which I agree with, and this seems to confirm the idiotic defense strategy of inadequate council for the appeal. It is 1000% clear that is what they had in mind from the beginning. There are 2 conflicting laws and I am positive they will try to get it before the Supreme Court. The 2 laws in conflict are the defendant having a lawyer of his own choosing and Idaho requiring that a DP case have a DP-certified lawyer. Chad wanted Prior, which he paid for, but also for the state to pay for a DP lawyer. I don't think he will get away with this nonsense. Chad could have picked from a roster of DP lawyers from day 1, but he didn't. Prior looks close to retirement, so why should he care? He has the property. LASTLY: Thank YOU Blake for your service to our justice system. You have restored our faith in humanity as well.

I am literally sobbing watching this. I have been following this case here in Ireland since the children were missing. I have watched as much of the trial as I possibly could and have not been able to stop speaking and thinking about it. And since the verdict and sentencing I have been worrying about the jurors and hoping they were ok. The interviews with the jurors have been so fantastic especially this one with Blake. During the trial I was losing hope in humanity but listening to those jurors have definitely helped restore it. Thank you for that. RIP Charles, Tammy, Tylee and JJ

I don't live in the States but , no-one, anywhere, want people, especially children, to suffer the way JJ, Tylee and Tammy did. And what for? What for? Nate thanks for letting the jurors speak.
