Technically we had one scene of her reloading. Then never again as well as Dust being scrapped as an Idea.

@@OddOtter707 dust itself wasn't scrapped just the use of raw dust. Characters still uses it in their weapons. An with weiss' family it was a common point of conversation when they related to anything of weiss' father

Dream Weiss has seen Winter Summon, however summoning Grimm of all things seems outlandish.

@@phantomprotagonist7583 It’s not about continuity, it’s about potential. Weiss knows that she’ll be able to do it eventually, so she can do it in the dream. Whether or not she’s actually understanding how she does it in the dream would be one of those logic fails that can only feasibly happen in dreams. With her personality, if she had to explain in detail how she’s doing it, the very act of having to think over the details may be enough to prevent her from using it, at least until she stops focusing on the details of the ability.

I probably could've worded it a tad better, bit I was looking at it from the perspective that she does understand how to do it, which wouldn't make since she doesn't know how to at it this point, but as you've mentioned the obvious. This is indeed a dream. So her ability to summon in general can be chalked up as her simply willing the summon subconsciously. But then again I don't take RWBY all too seriously so forgive me for trying to poke fun at it.

@@OddOtter707 Regular Weiss saw Winter Summon too, that was part of the test in like, the first or second episode I think. I think Winter also summoned a Grimm, but I'm not 100% sure, and if so, it's not actually outlandish. (And since Weiss is being possessed BY a Grimm I think it makes sense.)

@@tntjrock3197 It stopped following the main plot well in episode two and just gave up even pretending to follow the original plot after episode three. Not necessarily a bad thing but at this point I wouldn't remotely consider them the same story.

It was clearly said that it will not follow the old show . But it went downhill after episode 4 . Already 3 episodes where team rwby spent inside a dream instead of any story progression.

@@3heads0thoughts yea and that's what makes it sad . Even if it's following a different story the world of rwby is a mysterious and big one . It's almost a waste imo. Especially when anime seasons get squished into 12 episodes nowadays. Don't get me wrong I really love the original series and I just hope the writing from now on gets better since I really wish this to be popular and getting more seasons . But the future looks grim right now.

...not really? Weiss in the songs is vulnerable and introspective. This Weiss is barely aware of her own internal struggles and goes all out on keeping up the facade.

Yeah she is, she’s awesome, I like her fighting style and her semblance is very cool! When she makes an ice clone and her opponent gets stuck she can quickly get some good hits in before the person can get out. Her shadow clones can allow her to jump a little higher I think, and the fire clone explodes and gives her opponent a good tanky hit. Blake and her shadow clones are also like; “Thought you had me? Better luck next time.” Lol!

Tbh it’s because she saw ruby with Blake right before the fight. She didn’t see yang so she assumed she was still in the tower.

@@RobertStukowski I went to check, to see if she either loaded or reloaded. And I'm gonna say reloaded I guess. It's just that the scenes were out of order. When she picked up her weapon, it did have dust already in it. And when she puts new rounds, it is hollow instead of it's colored coded on the outside. But literally the next scene, it showed she dropped the previous rounds to the ground. At first I thought she separated the dust from the shell. But when I looked back, that's not the case. She was loading in rounds while holding the previous rounds at the same time. This and that has their mistakes. Former is what I just said, and the later shows the bullets lost their color when the next scene have their color back.

This is a alternate story that branches off from the original. In this version the group finds a new type of Grimm called the Nightmare Grimm that enters a person's mind and wither away there mind untill there nothing left but a husk and the only way to get rid of it if it's infecting someone is to enter the dream world and fight it off at the source but in our Snow girls case it took her insecurity and upped it to 11 making her dream world a frozen fortress and the Nightmare hiding somewhere inside.

@@Ability-King-KK This narrative is so tired, Monty never wrote any of the story. He had broad ideas but go back to the first episodes of volume 1 and you can see Miles and Kerry were always in charge.

@@gamingwithtdcoco no but really. It's not just the animation that's off. It's like the baggage of RWBY in general. The history of the show. It's the same characters we've seen since episode one with different outfits and maybe a few minor differences. It sucks.
