Great test. Lot of fun. It is a shame that some major brands are not participating. I think that it is not about winning, if a kite ends up in the final it has won already. IMO, if it flies well then it is all about personal preferences.
They all say they think the wind picked up when they tried the lift, so did the lift just have more power? Because they tried the kites in different orders right?
Another great edit, very fun to watch the riders and hear their thoughts.... but unfortunately, Marc's chest is the big loser in all this as I'm pretty sure it's usually a lot fuller when he's not doing his 10kg KOTA cut 😂
The idea is great, videos absolutely amazing. Nice footage, music, preparation, crew ... Loved all videos, although in this one the Core was obvious, so I'm not sure how unbiased this test will end up to be.

we would enjoy a remake of this with better camo for current versions of the kites, pretty good content. has the potential to be a genuine review, most of the other reviews are biased due to the obvious involvement of the brand
When Geil says it took him 10mins to find the sweet spot for takeoffs what is he referring to? How far to pull in the bar? Where to position the kite? How long to wait after sending it to 12?
One thing I don't understand with the Harlem kite is wich one did you test ? You put the name Strike on screen but with the image of the Go... But otherwise fantastic video !
Very good test but what is Nexus doing in the mix? Core have Big air kite and its not a Nexus.. and what about those lyrics on the screen :DD Overall very good.. Would love to see how pivot compares to the rest..
They already answered it. For the 1st episode they tested the kite the brands were willing to send. And not many brands knew what was going to happen. I mean a test with Colin as Chief Officer, pretty dangerous to me 😅
@@Baptiste_L thx, this I have heard, however the whole situation is a bit weird to me - Rise is a big air machine which should be in BigAir episode and not Freeride episode :( I am super hyper interested in what Ruben and Marc would have said about Rise
Did you let them talk first to each other and recognize the kites together and then choose what they like the most? I would have done it in opposite order
At any time I didn't know what kite they were using (except Core which all recognize anyway). Why in hell wasn't there clear labeling of kites when they were riding them? LOL Stupid waste of time
