A vertical 18' diameter hole, 3600' deep used for sending roadbed material into a mine in Sudbury Ontario had sloughed and choked off the hole at around 2450 level. Using our long reach reel with 4500' of range, we lowered a 30 pound power-cone explosive to place on the blockage. Here you see the set-up and blasting viewed from surface.
