Borewell drilling To drill 180 feet to the water Boreholes for Water Wells Borehole drilling contractors London UK Herfordshire Cambridgeshire Bedfordshire Essex and Surrounding Counties
I use to drill oil wells, some were 16,000 feet deep. You should see them with a camera. That was in the early 70's and we could only see a little farther than your shots. You could see all the different formations that was very clear till we started getting really deep. We just did not have the technologies of today. One point I want to make was the wells we drilled all were straight down and did not screw up any water tables. No horizontal drilling, we need to all make a stand against it before there is no clean water anywhere. Thanks for the picture's.
That was really cool, thanks Adrian. Did make me want to go out and get a good filter system for my well though, even though I've known all along I'm drinking water out of a hole in the ground. Clean looking rock though. They're not really dead straight down, are they? Well bore holes that is. Don't know why I expected them to be. I'm sure your bit must wander a little even though it's on some pretty hefty steel shafting. Even that flexes a bit when you're drilling that far I suppose. Thanks for the view, years in building and I've never had a look down one. Fascinating.
Does anyone know what makes the surface of the water ripple? It looks quite deep I'm just wondering what force ripples the water... I was thinking it might be debris fallin from the camera hitting the wall of the bore.
We can't do this more than 800-900 feet, Because there's many hard rocks , these rocks are very strong and hard a drilling machine is unable to go through them
adam co If the water pressure wouldn't kill me and I could get into a boat or submarine type thing. But yes with those safeties in place I would. Get an military aircraft carrier on a "tiger cruise" and they will have a swim day or two. People jump off the aircraft elevators and swim in the ocean. It's pretty high up. I know a guy from the air wing/air department that jumped from the flight deck to save someone that was blown off the flight deck. Bill Williams I think was his name.
Hello How much is the depth of this well?? What kind of camera as used and is it the cable or register memory is the same camera and watch them later??
Whtats to keep the sides from caving in? Also, my well has hard water from day one 16 years ago. Will a well ever clear itself out from heavy iron deposits? We have a $5000 system to purify our water(salt system).
I'm not claustrophobic but Damn I shouldn't jave watched that lol I'm here stressing like when's this over lol this is some "The Ring" shit lol but I guess the tight space didn't phase my curiosity when I saw the title on another video lol
How did you illuminate (light the way) for the camera? Did you run a siamese cable up to the surface to a monitor/recorder or camcorder? I'm very interested in the equipment you used as I drill wells in Mexico and we've had a few problems. I've used a security camera (in water proof housing) with infrared but visibility in water was poor. Infrared doesn't work well in water. Thanks for any help you can give. David
