It's a little bit better to Special Summon all pieces due to "Level Resist Wall" and then return all of them to your hand with "Sound the Retreat!". xD
I mean that's how tcgs are played, you have to assume that everyone knows nothing about your cards so whenever a card enters play you need to specify all its properties (unless you're playing with like, the same group every week for multiple weeks)
On the 2004 Yugioh you can actually pull it with the witch of black forest, sangan, the shallow grave and monster reborn type cards. The rest is probably thinners, monster destruction cards, cards with tribute effects, and restrict cards
@@darkstar_xd I once saw someone end up with all 5 Exodia pieces in their starting hand before they even got to their first draw phase....and I've also seen someone wind up being the victim of it.
Once you realize your opponent is running an exodia deck, it becomes a fucking race i stg, that instinctual panic of "How many pieces does he have now" to "What cards does he have to be able to pull it off" is terrifying
Card destruction effects and field wipe spells become essential. Depending on how many copies of each part they have it’s entirely possible to brick the entire strat.
@@simonnachreiner8380exodia was way more scary back in the days And not even talking original OCG 😅 Nowdays must cards are gone or different effects so its easy Plus alot of handtraps and other cards to stop playing 😢
@@simonnachreiner8380 I present to you: Dark sacrifice By sending a level 3 or lower monster to the graveyard I can negate your field destruction Then I use dark factory twice to get 4 pieces of exodia and let incarnate pull the last one out ggs
@@jmeister7482yeah ima be honest I used it a little bit but once people started using monster effects primarily he became useless almost instantly It was fun watching people use spells and traps and even try to beat over him but yeah rip
@@fantacertrue, but it was during Blau's turn. Blau could've summon Sangan and crash into Hex-sealed, triggering its effect to search Exodia piece instead of set it and wait for Sangan to be sent to Graveyard
With what? with being stupid enough to blindly attack set down monster without a chance to do anything other when he knows what deck is blau playing? If someone told me they did it on purpose, I would actually believe that.
@@arias1610 They DO do things on purpose to make people like Blau feel better about playing the game. I've lost count of the amount of times Sykkuno "accidentally" blunders to give his friends a chance, but it's all for entertainment so whatever.
@@cold-fire i get that it was on purpose but c'mon that was too obvious even casual players would be baffled of what he did. Entertainment is entertainment but atleast don't make it so obvious sykkuno even said "He must have 3 Pieces of Exodia" and then blau shows that he had a Sangan using pot
im honestly just surprised he attacked twice. like the moment he saw the exodia leg he shouldve thought about what monsters can get the pieces from deck to hand
That's because Ellum is simply not smart lol. If you watch him in the Wednesday morning Among Us lobbies, you'll understand this is pretty par for the course for him.
What Exodia Deck needs more than 2 Turns to get through its complete deck.... thats the whole reason exodia decks exist, you go through them in 2 turns or loose becoause you got stalled.
I saw a clip of Ellum with his collection of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Does this mean he will start being a regular in their (Sykkuno, Leslie, Ramee, Blau) Yu-Gi-Oh streams? Man, I really hope so :D
@@ned_arb i was more referring to the Michael Jones one where, including the intro to the fight, it's a 41 second clip. it takes 1 turn to lose for him. or Brownman who loses in a 4 minute clip which he's spending probably 1 minutes worth not playing the game.
I had a deck that, no matter the shuffle or initial 5 cards drawn, I will win on my first turn. Of course, that included several cards that are now on the banned or limited lists, but I could always burn through my entire deck in a single turn
You can tell both of them are brand new to the game. While I’m not sure what the other guy was playing (I also don’t know who either of them are) it didn’t seem to move quick, or he bricked massively. Blue on the other hand could have done his plays slightly diffrently to be more aggressive (grab chicken game at the beginning, crashing sangan to search early, remembering to use shard of greed though I can see waiting to get the two counters) Regardless of their plays, the other guy stood no chance unless he would be able to clear Bleus board (of 1 sangan lol) and also kill him the same turn before golden sarcophagus adds the leg.
I fight someone who gets to go first, draws four pieces, I play my turn, he draws, plays, pot of greed, gets the last piece, EXODIA, OBLITERATE. I was not happy.
the best play i've ever made was summoning black luster soldier, the winged dragon of ra, and the legendary exodia incarnate on the same turn. wiping my brothers board, and then using incarnates effect to win the game with exodia.
What’s funny, is when you can use multiple searchers to get multiple pieces of exodia on a turn. I just wonder if anyone has used Maxx C, pulling all the pieces and won that way???
"That was the fastest Exodia EVER!" ... Me: (looks at my Exodia FTK deck...) Some RU-vidr: (Posts a video of two guys simultaneously activating Exodia after one of the two played One Day of Peace on his first turn, making them both get the missing part at the same time) Glad you had fun. :D Here's a fun challenge, make an Exodia deck that isn't focused on winning through getting the 5 pieces, but USES them to help win the match. Remember, besides the head, they are level 1 Normal Dark Spellcasters. This should help in making something neat.
I was playing a Gameboy Yu-Gi-Oh game a day or so ago and started with 3 pieces and natural drawed the last 2 in the next 2 turns. Luckily it was original Yu-Gi-Oh so I didn't have to worry about crazy combos yet!
rookie number of turns, ive gotten hit with exodia turn one, i didn't even get to play the game because i started with 5 monsters with no quick effects
shoudl'v e added chicken gam with pot and ten had exodia on drop and used it to draw the piece, also attacked into the dark hex with the sangann to gurantee it and clear an opponents monster.
When I was little I was interested in yugioh and I tried to teach my mom to play it but being a stupid competitive little kid (who only mildly knew what a few of the cards did) I would just play exodia and just win and I’m pretty sure all she learned what that “you can’t play this card because you have to use the other card first”
My friend is cracked at yugiyo and made a deck that is specifically designed to guarantee exozdia on turn one every time After that I stopped playing cards with him.
I saw a first turn Exodia once. They drew 4 pieces and then they used a Pot of Greed that they had gotten as well on the opening hand and drew the 5 piece. Any time you see that your opponent has any piece of Exodia, that turns the duel into a race against the clock to stop your opponent before they summon him.
