Don't worry, I'm pretty sure the japanese trailer didn't have a voice over, either. It wouldn't make any sense for there not to be an English dub, after all this time.

I can respect wanting it to come out earlier, but there's still a lot of people who prefer the dub, and you don't need to constantly be... putting them down (I know that's probably not the best word to use in this context, but I can't think of anything else). It wouldn't make sense for them not to do the dub. They ARE going to do the dub, whether you want them to or not. You don't have to like it, but chill a little. P.S. I think it's a hit-and-miss dub, myself.

All dubs do not automatically suck and Blazblue's is fantastic in my opinion (with the exception of Bang's replacement VA).

Are you even aware that it's very rare for little girls in any form of animated medium to be voiced by a VA their own age? The reason for that is because outside of Japan voices actors that young are practically non-existent and in Japan they are uncommon. Grown women voice young girls and pre-pubescent boys all the time in both English and Japanese because the female voice does not deepen much during puberty if it does at all. Do I think Laura Bailey could have done a better job as Platinum? Yes. In fact I think Alexis Tipton did a better job as Platinum in the anime despite only appearing in one episode and we all know Bailey can do a higher pitch but I still wouldn't call it bad.

"Good" and "Not bad" are not the same thing. What I said was "You can call the BlazBlue dub many things but "bad" is not one of them. Even if you don't think the dub is good you CANNOT make the argument that it is "bad" in the objective sense. There are plenty of bad dub jobs out there to compare this to and in doing so you would find that there is a very large discrepancy between the amount of work and care that went into BlazBlue's dub and the the amount that went into one these works with poor dub jobs (Some examples are: No Game No Life, Death Parade, Elfen Lied, anything done by 4Kids, Naruto [Though I would advise avoiding this work altogether], etc.) As for Baccano, don't even try to argue with me on this as it's obvious that you haven't even watched it. But here's a quick rundown: the series takes place mainly in Manhattan during the Prohibition Era though there are other time periods and locations covered during the story Prohibition Manhattan is the most prominent one. Now imagine Japanese voice actors trying to imitate Brooklyn accents. Sound ridiculous? It should because it is, and it doesn't work because the Brooklyn accent does not gel with Japanese dialect like it does with English. Tell me: who do you think can do an accent that originated in New York better; someone from Japan who has likely never been to New York or someone who is actually from New York?

I didn't hear anything about an Xbox release. Only for PS3 and PS4. It would be a bummer if they didn't bring it for the One as well.

well, to be fair, some people wanted the game here earlier and the amount of money for localization is gonna be crazy. There is a tone of VA work involved, and that doesnt even include the 7 new characters coming in. With how long the story mode is and such. I wanted dub too, but i understand the other side of things.

Marco Funke I didn't buy this game either because of no english dub. It really sucks. Central Fiction would've been 100% better with english dub voices.
