I'm really worried that this game will not come out for the vita. We've gotten CSE , CP, and CPE, but seeing as how Gravity Rush 2 was scrapped for the vita and targeted to be a PS4 exclusive product, it's a little disheartening. Especially because the vita version of the Blazblue games have always had lush, vibrant colors and fluid animations on that beautiful OLED screen with an online connection performance to match it's stunningly bright colors.

I bet dude. Now I ain't a PlayStation user myself but I know how ya feel. Back when CP was confirmed for PS3 only I was upset that I wouldn't be able to play it. The story and the gameplay caught my utmost attention and I wanted to play as Ragna, Hazama, anyone that would be fun to play as. Fortunately for us X-Box users CPE was announced.

sweet. for some reason i a big fan of gender bender chars. i blame bridget from gg. first fighting game for me and my best char to use. here to hoping for bridget now in ggx. as for bb i gonna use mai as much as possible. that and hope for more story about her.

Date Masamune Terumi WAS supposed to be permanently dead because Hakumen killed him, but knowing the BlazBlue World, everything is super convoluted and they'll most likely duplicate his soul from the Boundary, like how Kokonoe brought back Celica. Taokaka has no role in Chrono Phantasma, she just tags along with Ragna the whole time. Amane, on the other hand has more to him than we know. There's a scene where he converses with Rachel who gives subtle clues about Amane's purpose as a supposed Observer

There is a possibility that Terumi will just appear in flashbacks. Either that or Nine discovered some spell to bring Terumi back. Personally I think it's better for Terumi to stay dead but that's just me though.

***** You must not play fighting games often. Yearly upgrades are common in the genre. Regarding the main story however BB is actually progressing rather nicely. CT was released in 2008, CS in 2009, CP in 2012 and CF is slated for 2015. As far as actual story progression goes four actual chapters in seven years isn't bad. Other fighting game series tend to go YEARS between releases that actually move the story along. Case in point:Street Fighter: 1987SF2: 1991Alpha: 1995SF3: 1997SF4: 2008SF5: 2016As far as surpassing Street Fighter in regards to yearly updates BB doesn't even come close. Street Fighter 2 had FIVE different arcade versions released in a span of just three years (this isn't even counting console versions). Honestly BB still has a ways to go before it's anywhere near as bad as SF in that regard.

Enigma1788 While Street Fighter was pretty bad at this back in the day, the way they treated SF4 is no where near as bad, which is where I'm getting at cause back in the day I only bought one of each numbered sequel and no iteration. Though the BB main series are some years apart, you forgot to mention the extended version that contain the dlc characters plus 1 new guy. How fighting games work aside, The smart thing to do is to wait for the extend, but by the time they are brought to the west, the new version are usually announced. It's an almost endless cycle of waiting which really sucks for your wallet if you like their games. BTW, all this is completely disregarding the story cause I don't really give a shit about it. My thing is just to wait till Arc Systems Works take a break from the series to actually buy the latest game cause only then do you know you're getting the definitive version.

***** This is nowhere near as bad as either of the games you mentioned. Since Continuum Shift, there has been only 2 versions of each game that came out: the vanilla version, and the Extend version. How many "variations" did they have of SF 4 in the span of like 3 years? Something like 4 or 5? Blazblue is way more fair to its fans and their wallets in that regard. Sure getting caught into the cycle kinda sucks, but it's not that big of a deal, because the games are fun enough to hold your attention until the next one comes out.

AstralMuffin105 3 in the span of 3 years starting when sf4 was released. Ultra was another 3 years after. That aside, I disagree with blazblue being fair compared to sf4. Remember, each release of the next blazblue franchise was only released by full game only (cept for cs2 which was a free upgrade).With the exception of ssf4, every game after that had a $20 upgrade option (AE2012 being a free upgrade). Another thing, bb and sf4 released relatively around the same time. Where sf4 had 4 iterations, bb had 5 in the same lifespan. Chrono Phantasma Extend cost $50 for ps4 and xbone in amazon as of now btw. No way in hell is the blazblue approach fairer than street fighter 4. If you include 5 than we would end up including Central Fiction as well, and street fighter would still be the better deal.

***** I don't understand your logic, because even with the Extend versions(of which there were only 2), there has only been 3 base games that all progressed the story, as opposed to SF4 that had 4 versions that all told the same story with minor changes and a few new characters.
