Korman's angry expressions right before the slap was hilarious. I'm sure Korman started cracking up given his history of breaking character on Carol Burnett lol
Brooks managed to elicit 3 of the greatest female comedic performances of all time out of Kahn and Leachman in B.S. and Y.F. - Leachman is especially sublime. Her facial expressions alone are genius.
And she said it with such venom. 😂😂😂😂 She knew it would cut him right to the core, and the look on his face when he realizes what it all means. 😂😂😂😂 This is the scene I keep coming back to again and again it's just so freaking funny to me. This one and; "Governor, I'd like to introduce you to the new sheriff of Rock Ridge." "Oh, I'd be deligh.. WOW!! 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 OMFG!
Madeline Kahn was my all-time favorite comedic actress, because she would make fun of the sexual hypocrisy that pretty women used to wield over men - lusting after a guy, but wanting him to play the heavy so they could pretend to be purer that the driven snow. Young Frankenstein: "Where you going?... Oh, you men are all alike. Seven or eight quick ones and then you're out with the boys to boast and brag. YOU BETTER KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!!"
For anybody who may not know, the words that she used were Yiddish words that basically say that somebody is kaput, no good, washed out, wiped out etc.
Hilarious scene from one of the best comedies to come out of Hollywood ! Thank you so much for uploading ! There's a LOT of talent in this scene: Harvey, Madeline & Slim Pickens. Sadly, all three are no longer with us. They've gone to that big "Rock Ridge" in the sky.... :-(
RIP Maddeline Khan, Slim Pickens and Harvey (Hedy! Not Headley Lamarr) Norman three of the Pantheon on Holiwierd Greats. Loved them all. And what happened to Cleaven LITTLE? He was sloop funny. "KANDY GRAM FOR MISTER MONGO!"
@@red5llaw Well said and well put ! I agree 100 per cent ! Sadly, Cleavon Little passed away in 1992 from colorectal cancer. Poor fellow was only 53 years old.... :-(
Well executed Bitch Slapping by hedy...........' I mean Hedley,. And did you guys see that follow through? I give it an 8.5, out of 10. A bit sluggish on the hand retraction. But still great non the less. Gotta love the way Taggart, shakes his head @ her, as if saying. "Take it, that's what you get".
Wir fahren auf Engeland! (We're off to England) There is a song from WW2 called "Das Engelandlied" or "Wir Fahren Gegen Engeland" but I don't think it's the same song.
"Wir fahren auf England". It's a nazi song about the impending invasion of England by the nazis ( that never happened as it turns out ). Quite anachronistic, but funny. The actual song goes "Wir fahren gegen England" I think, but the botched German makes it even funnier.
