Ichigo is 29 during this latest chapter, so he's getting close, but not 30 yet. Sajin Komamura is not dead, he's turned into a dog, and is basically the pet of Iba, but he's alive. And, Kubo did confirm in a Klub Outside question that Masira is not actually a lieutenant. Instead, Kensei allows her to believe she is as that makes her easier to deal with. Also, Renji was already the lieutenant of Squad 6 when he was introduced in the original series. Remember he was working under Byakuya. He'd only recently become lieutenant at that point, but he was the lieutenant notheless. BTW, I hope they adapt the Light Novels as not only are there tons of cool material to use for an Anime, but I'd love to see Tokinade animated. That dude is evil as hell.

OP is too late to call it. The hell arc was already released in 2020. Probably never actually watched the original run, and just another anime tourists that jumps into the hype bandwagon.
