@Platinum The Masculinity Admitably I would go to a universe where Bleach at least ended as it originally was intended to instead of the rushed ending it ended up getting. This would also be a universe where poor Kubo never suffered the health concerns that forced him to end Bleach early.
Apparently, Tite Kubo said that this verison of the fight was how he had imagined the fight should have been instead of the rushed curbstomb in the manga and the anime.
The fact that Kubo made Bleach as good as it was despite being unable to write what he wanted accurately is a testament to his skill. And the product we could have gotten.
Yeah I was gonna say this. He wanted a more back and forth battle between the two but was rushed... Ffs why can't they let the ones behind the anime take their time and deliver a masterpiece

@@xXGeth270Xx - I never said the final arc was "excellent", it's just not as bad as people make it out to be. The first half was great, and even the second half had many great moments. If they add the light novels, it would be even 10 times better!!! - I don't think the quality of the story had anything to do with its popularity; look at Dragon Ball Super for example, it was mega popular despite having a plot worse than 5-year-old kids show, or Boruto which is 70% fillers but still very popular in Japan!!! In short, just because some people think Bleach final arc is bad doesn't mean it doesn't deserve an anime. - Shueisha would never invest that crap ton of money into a project (Bleach final arc) for the sole purpose of promoting another project (Burn The Witch), especially considering that Burn The Witch will be a "short" serialization!!! They are bringing Bleach back because Bleach is STILL making money after all these years, through Bleach Brave Souls/Jet artbook/manga & DVD sales... - Finally, I didn't mean to offend you, I just hate it how our fandom have suffered for 8 years of slander and trash-talking, but still there're some people trying to ruin our hype and destroy our hope for what we waited too long for...

@@scottgrasser9475 As Aizen reminded us in the Fake Karakura Town Arc, battles are about Spirit Pressure more than abilities or tactics. If Vasto Lorde Ichigo had more raw power than Barragan, then Barragan's Respira would likely have had no effect on him.

Stunning. Absolutely stunning. Such a nostalgia trip, the smoothness of the animation, Bleach's epic combat music. Yes. This section is the best thing to ever happen to Bleach. These 2 minutes are perfection. I love Bleach as a whole, the main story/arc anyway, but this... This is what this anime should've been.
They have so much potential for the anime, I really hope they have some freedom to extend scenes and even 'explain' certain abilities. A full on, 20 minute fight between Unohana and Kenpachi, with this level of animation? More explanation on what her bankai does and showing kenpachi eventually just brute force overpowering it? God that'd be absolutely insane
Izaac .Cornish meh I feel like the mysterious aspect of minazuki is best. Like it’s just gushing pitch black nothingness, if it’s explained in detail that would ruin the feel of “the first kenpachi”
If only ressources had been better spent. Imagine at world where Bleach was only 100 episodes or less, with no filler so they could have spent all their time animating the shit that matters. That would help the pacing immensely
The production has been closing in on 2 years at this point and there still is no news. Sounds bad but incredible to me, I may have been spoiled to hell on what happens but imagine how beautiful they can make it look
All hollow in Bleach have 3 kind : Menos Grande (Gillian), Adjuchas, Vasto Lorde. Vasto Lorde is all living hollow that have human like form. @WarriorGodly Yes and no. Yes, because It was protecting Ichigo when he was near death. No, since it's priority is to attack anything to protect Ichigo (Like how it almost tried to kill Uryu when he stopped it from killing Ulquiorra. Basically it's neither good nor evil, it just has the natural instinct to survive and this case protect Ichigo who is it's host.
I liked the depiction of hell in this series...immortal and bound by chains dying and being reborn, no salvation...a torture until your soul gives up only bones remain...

Fate doesn't really have a better budget they just release less episodes so the team can work on it better. UFO table doesn't usually do long series because it would hinder their work ethic regarding beautif5 animation like this or in fate ubw
@@texcorps9432 less episodes? Fate animes usually has 24 something episodes. That's actually really decent since 12 episodes per season is the norm now for animes. Animes that go beyong 20 episodes and still continues are rare now and they usually sacrifice quality because they're probably rushing it.
I wish the whole Ulqui fight were animated like this. Even Kubo says its his fav. Maybe some day we will get a revival of the manga with the hell verse saga and it wont be a weekly syndication so Kubo isnt rushed
11 years later and this still hits hard like it did the first night I saw the movie on RU-vid(Back when you could watch stuff like this on here). While I love the OG Ulquiora vs Hollow Ichigo the most, this version still gets me hyped af.
While the anime always had really strong atmosphere that was made so good by Shiro Sagisu's godly music... this movie was when they decided to truly give his compositions the animation it deserves
Press F to pay respect.... But look on the bright side, people who have seen this dozens of time wish they can see it again for the first time. I was blown away when I saw this the first time a few years back.
@@destroyer1859 There is quite a change. VL`s ceros here are much stronger yet Ulquiorra cancels them out. VL here isnt blirzing Ulquiorra casually either. And Ulquiorra tagged on guard ichigo twice here.
god tier animation and top sound design. I wish a studio could animate an actual series like this, too bad it would bankrupt them after an episode... I hope a day comes when this fight is fully animated like this
I know why this scene is so lit af. Because they're no longer human. Basically we're just see two beast fighting each other to die. And the animator really done it well

@@Kanalikuli yeah, not too much animation to go off of just yet, but at least the visuals look good so far (even if it’s “pre-animated”). However, we have no reason to worry about animation just yet. They have been in pre-production for quite a while now, and were given about an entire year of actual production on top of them likely still animating as it continues to air (which they did before and it still looked really good for its time). Same studio is doing it, and they have given Bleach great animation that still holds up today, and it seems like the people working on it are excited and passionate about Bleach. And then we have the director, who has previous directed another anime by the same studio, Akudama Drive, which has GORGEOUS visuals and animation. Again, we can’t be sure just how good it will be, but all signs are pointing towards this being nowhere close to being “bad”.
For me this version has to be the best fight in the series for sure and one of the best fights in all of the anime I’ve watched so far.🔥just straight up savagery 💪🤘💫
I like to count both this version and the one we see in the show as the same fight. It didn’t look the same, but not only is this movie canon from what I’ve heard, this specific version of the fight is actually more accurate to how the author originally envisioned it (he had to rush it, but he wanted to show the fight in a way that made them look like they were more equal in power).

That's bullshit, Bleach is very consistent with it's draw and animation (much more than other popular battle shonen anime, like: One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball, Fairy Tail, Etc). You maybe are thinking of DBS

I always will love how the final growl is like the sound of an electric guitar because the part E of the track 'Incantation' that is in the background of this scene has the guitar in it. It kinda reminds me of the sound that the electric guitar makes in the song 'Judas Rising' by Judas priest.
He's fighting a stranger, As far as he know,he drilled Ichigo's chest he mustn't be alive. It's overwhelming dominance is a very hollow trait and he felt dominated by opponent for the first time 😂
the best 2 minutes of animation bleach ever got, such a shame that shueisha and whoever rushed kubo, i wouldve loved to see how he wouldve done things with no interruptions
mega sean hell verse is canon, all filler and movies were stated by kubo to be canon, they even mention things from filler arcs like muramasa in the novels
It is nothing but pure quality. Especially the fight. If I did not know the anime and see this scene. I would definetly say the winged man was the hero.
no fight in anime history will reach the level of intensity as this fight if the anime ever restarts zarakis bankai will definitely surpass this fight but this is still wishful thinking
Bleach was my all time fav anime because I watched it all the time as a kid and had the disc, but now attack on titan is my fav. But watching this back brings back so many childhood memories 😥🤗🤗🤗🤗
