@@dirtydan4519 bro literally almost shat my pants. Like i just completed monster and death note and i said no character would be better or even come close to light/L and johan, until the episode it was all revealed and my fav character became aizen on the spot
Same. I watched it for the first time over a decade ago and was shocked. I got my younger brother into this anime afterwards and he was 100% convinced Gin killed Aizen. He was shocked as well when Aizen revealed himself.
I swear it always happens to the "teenage" looking characters in this show. Another scene that comes to mind is when Gin decided to do a little bit of trolling and made Rukia have a mental breakdown.
@@flavourously4723I actually still don't understand why Ichimaru even did that in the first place. Like, after it is revealed that he never truly was on Aizen's side and is okay-ish person, then... Did he just decided to be a bitch for no reason to a helpless girl who is about to be executed? Huh?
When I first watched this, I thought he was an imposter or a fake. But when it was revealed he was in fact Aizen, my jaw dropped. Hands down one of the best moments in anime for me.
So Aizen uses "Boku" to refer to himself throughout the first part while acting at a good guy, but at the very end, when he takes off his glasses, he changes to "watashi" showing that his transformation is complete
Aizen was so powerful he not only stopped Zangetsu, but also stopped the main character’s theme. The last time the original Number One was played was in this scene. After this point, only the remixes were played.
Wait, was the version that played in Ichigo vs. Grimmjow Round 3 (right before Ichigo defeated Grimmjow) not the original version? It's been a minute, but I thought for certain the song played during that fight.
OG Digimon also had a pretty hilarious one when they first met Piemon, it spends about a minute playing the heroes theme as the two strongest Digimon in the group go through their full transformation sequence to go into the mega forms only for both of them to get one shot instantly.
@@-------....___ it is spoiler alert. Ukitaki got soul king's arm (神掛, Divine Possession; Viz "God Sworn"). Ichigo being the hybrid and soul king candidate.
@@Izumi_817 I know that. But Kubo hadn’t thought of that at that time. It was only until soul society bleach would have ended. The soul king stuff came way later.
Coming back to these scenes later, you kinda notice that Gin doesn't stop anyone getting close to Aizen, just really bad excuses and even allowing himself to get caught by Rangiku. Sure, he's playing the long con and probably knows no one can do much, but he weren't that subtle either.
i like how Tousen just also stood there. He could've went in and cut these guys down with his bankai too. Guess he was just waiting for Aizen's orders.
He didn't think of the Soul King until years later. But any writer knows if you are releasing piece-by-piece, gotta leave some openings to expand the story if need be.
His small speech at 6:54 seems to refer strongly to the realm the Soul King and his true nature, even though he says it while "ascending" to Hueco Mundo, he is actually talking about the further future
Rewatching after the TYBW arc, Aizen had massive balls to drop his sword in front of Unohana in the Central 46 Court. He likely understood that nothing short of a direct order from Yamamoto would have been needed for Unohana to go ham. Aizen being so casual and flippant is in itself a huge taunt. Essentially saying, "Here I am, defenseless, and you can't touch me," to the greatest zanjutsu practitioner in the Soul Society. Unohana had the potential to be a massive thorn in his side, but knowing Aizen he was perfectly aware she posed absolutely no threat to him as things were established. Yamamoto didn't know of the treachery yet, and Unohana was under his hypnosis, and still relegated to only act as a healer.
I was spoiled when i read someone writting "goatzen". They were calling him goat so i thought he was a good guy with a masterpiece plan who at the last moment would save rukia from execution and would expose the plot behind why her execution time was shortning. Throughout the whole arc i thought all are just his plan and momo is not actually stabbed and he did that to gather all the captains and other high ranking members but it was such a shock when he opened a portal and transcend. I am happy i was spoiled wrongly.
I like to think the fact he had Hooleer hid in the Garganta also meant he had Wonderweiss ready to counter Yamamoto if he showed up. Aizen's planning was next level.
I think wonderweiss was made later when hogyoku was almost ready. I remember a scene where aizen in hueco mundo said it's not finished but someone twice as strong as a captain can activate it about hogyoku.
5:58 that look Gin gave rangiku damn. This kind of shots you can only understand while watching the anime for a second time. So many small things settled so early in the series.
Only reason Hinamori exist in Bleach is to die and live again, stabbed by Aizen, stabbed by Hitsugaya and propably other times that I can't recall at this moment... oh yeah Hitsugaya was cut in half and live again. 😆
@@dinorex3464 he did but he was whole again (without makeup) when he said he wasnt interested afterwards, plus he has an arsenal of drugs , he coulda made it there feeling 100% if he really wanted to. Maybe it would taken too long to apply his make-up again
@@aditygogoi3044 no it's not lmao, Unohana is absolutely strong enough to 1v1 this version of Aizen. There's a reason he left when she rolled up. Having said that once he gets hogyouku I think he's probably stronger.
@@biodudezerothree9236 Nah aizens spiritual pressure at the time was probably on par with Yamamoto or higher. It was stated that aizens spiritual pressure was so great that its one of the forces thats keeping the realms in balance. Plus he already had unohana and everyone under hypnosis The only ones who were a threat to aizen was Yama and some members of squad 0 like ichibe.
I remember when I first heard of Bleach, all I knew was Aizen was a bad guy but when I actually watched it I thought he was actually a good guy but thought when he was killed I figured Gin brought him back but as an evil version, but then when he revealed himself as the mastermind and his Kyōka Suigetsu ability I was mind blown, like I thought I was hypnotised by how he deceived the characters of the Soul Society AND the shows audience
Aizen is much stronger than her at this point. Her feats came later through retcon. At this point in the series she is no threat to him Aizen only fears Yamamoto. He analyzed all the Soul Society and calculated that the only person he could not defeat 1v1 was the old man hence the invention of Wonderweiss.
He still would have won but with slight difficulty unlike against Toshiro who he stomps without even trying. He avoided fighting with her because it would take up too much time thus the gotei squad could have time to surround him.
@@deathcrowzero45 Regardless if he beats her, that would be a high diff fight even for Aizen. So he opted to get the fuck out and not needlessy poke a sleeping bear.
This guy has the most broken sword tho. Even w/o bankai. Complete hypnosis is just the most broken thing ever because you can literally not lose. The only reason why he lost is because he stopped using it
He already foreseen the coming of Ywach. He needs ichigo, thats why he was constantly watching the growth of the ryoka boy. A combination of Quincy, soul reaper, hollow and a Human. He might even knows the fragments of the Soul king since Aizen says here "No one sits atop, not even god, which implies the no one really is sitting atop but the remains of the Soul King. That explains alot why he needed the hogyoku and arrancar, since quincy might develop a technology that can steal a Bankai and Arrancars are the replacements on the upcoming war but failed miserably. That was my conclusions.
Does anyone not realize that Aizen is a portrayal of Lucifer who said he would be like God? Don't fall in love with something you might be ignorant of regarding these characters.
Bro I have watched bleach twice and Aizen still is for me the best villan in an anime. The first time I saw him killing Momo I freaked out "who is this guy?!". Everbody thought he was the purest character on Bleach 😂
Man, Kubo had a hate boner for Hinamori; poor girl received some of the nastiest emotional and physical trauma in the story, stabbed by her crush captain, stabbed by her childhood friend, getting smacked around by the entire Gotei 13 thinking she's Aizen, with resilience like that she should have been in squad 11
Aizen throwed me for a loop I thought gin was the one who was going to betray he looked the part for some reason sneaky but he ended up trying to stop aizen for his own reasons. He just played along with aizen.
Gin looked way too obvious And i love the idea of it. Cause he betrayed soul society but secretly did that because he wanted to betray aizen. Double snake
The first time I started watching the anime, I legit never saw this coming, I thought for sure Gin was the evil bastard here. When I saw Aizen alive, when I saw who he really is, I got possibly the biggest surprise of my life, I was too shock it took me time to process what the hell was happening
