hello , I am using blender 2.78 version whe I press I, I am not get scaring, rotation and location at same time?? any help???

so i'm a little confused, because when i start at frame one and do the movements, i see the keyframe gets automatically placed but once i stop actions and try to play it only one keyframe was made...so when i hit play nothing happens Do i need to set a point for the animation to end or something on my timeline?
