Here is the basic take from this video: Select the faces you want to crease (or create them with a beveled edge) ,go to sculpt mode, go Face set from edit mode selection, select the cloth filter, change the tool settings to include face sets, then use the inflate/deflate function on the face set and mesh in an alternating fashion
WOWOWOWOW this is simpl outstanding !! ! ! ! I am puting this into my favorite videos ! thanks for sharing this super great tecnique ! it is so incredible to have such an advanced real time cloth painting simulation like that all for free and built in Blender....what an awesome free program that is ! thanks to Ton !
9:09 Use crosscut (value 10) > use inset faces > Un-Subdivide > Then only the top and bottom layers get the video effect, and the middle becomes a grid of 5 layers of annular squares
At 9min34, for some reason, once I apply the bevel, The selection isn't on the beveled area, but rather all my faces, which is a struggle after I hit ok, since I've got to deselect manually every face, is there a command to avoid that ?
i did the same things told, but when I hover on face set meant for the filter, I can't inflate the mesh like you do proportionally. i have to click on the different parts.
when i click ctrl+alt+w , it gets deselected and when i try to inflate , the whole cylinder inflates , im super stuck PS- Nevermind i figured out , didnt apply the subdivide before inflating , thank you blender god
Hey I did the tutorial and I really like them but for some reason that I just can comprehend I can't seem to be able to do show the first cylinder's Face Set, when I try to do the Face Set from Edit Mode Selection, no matter how many times I try to do them. Same for the very last one with the cube but instead becomes one color instead. Got any clues how to fix it? All the others seem to work and I looked around for any solutions on the net too.
Ctrl-r and move mouse over edge to activate. Roll mouse wheel to get more loops. Click once to add edge loop. Click again to finalise the location of the loops after moving the loop with the mouse..
i am facing problems in placing lights and what type of lights we should use and where to place them to get best results and you can do a tutorial for how to make a bed and place bedsheet perfectly
