why does this come up right after I decide to watch shorts to take a break from selecting ☠️

Too late to know! I was working on a project and i accidentally discovered it a few days back! 😂

if in your case it select everything you need to select last edge of detail and after rmb click mark seam and try again

Remember if you wanna use this tip to select something it mustn't be connected to the rest of the mesh
