My favorite hymn, and I was blessed to save the hymnal volumes from the church where I was saved when they were replaced! Many copies of the hymns were put in a CA State Park Time Capsule! PTL!
My heart is inditing a good matter: "I was once a sinner, but I came Pardon to receive from my Lord. This was freely given, and I found That He always kept His word." Beautiful hymn, should you ever be impressed minister 😇🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Do you know the alternate chorus: Wonderful Savior, Wonderful Friend, Wonderful life that never shall end! Wonderful place He's gone to prepare, Wonder of wonders: I shall be there!
@@acappellahymns I ran across it in one of my favorite songbooks "Making Melody" by N A Woychuck (I have the 1978 edition). I believe that Mr Woychuck is the one who first translated "How Great Thou Art".
Fanny Crosby was an INCREDIBLE lady of faith, and has provided us with so many beautiful songs that can be summed up as "I am utterly in love with my Savior". Read up on her life, she truly was a treasure.
Thank you so much for this hymn! I used to sing this with my grandma at the piano when I was a very little girl. May you and your family be blessed this coming year.
Thank you so much for singing his praises! I listen to these hymns and sing along in these days of trepidation. I hold fast to his hand and it lifts me up. 🙏 Amen
Yes ma'am! Nothing wrong with starting the year off with some singing! ( : And did you know, you've been subscribed for 4 years now?!?! It's always great to see your comments. Have a great 2021!
Hi! Pineapple projects!. I hope you are having a great time listening to edifying hymns of grace. I would really appreciate if you could check out our small family channel we have few hymns I played on ukulele with my kids. GOD BLESS!
Do you have any advice for using your falsetto as precisely and consistently as you do? I often am required to sing the high parts, and it's a struggle to be consistently accurate.
@@danieljanney4564 No problem, Daniel! I rarely use falsetto on these recordings. On the right day, I can get up to around an A or B in the treble clef. But only for a short time. It's a struggle for me to get those higher parts consistent and accurate as well. My only recommendation(s) are to fully warm up your voice each day in your comfortable range. Once that's done, start exploring high and low. Keep everything relaxed. Don't over do it. But the more you play around in your extreme ranges (over weeks, months, years) the more comfortable you'll get with them.
There's not one single hymnal that will have every song on this channel. But most decent hymnals will have most of these songs. Is there any particular ones that you're looking for? You could always follow the link in the video description and order a hymnal from Melody Publications. They have a nice collection of hymns as well as extra notes about each hymn and/or the composers.
@@brandontv9207 - A good resource for you might be Hymnary.org. You can look for any public domain (non-copyrighted) hymn and find sheet music to print out... for free! It's not as convenient as having a hymnal. But it's still a good resource. Hope that helps!
Oh, no. They wanted to sponsor a couple of videos to see if my channel would be a good fit for them. I'll still be recording from all sorts of hymnals! ( :
@@melliott388 - I sure like PftL. Grew up with it as my main one and have led at four different churches from it. Good selection of my personal favorites.
@@acappellahymns Agreed! I went from Sacred Selections to that and I love it. Granted, there's still some newer ones I'd like to see, but it's still a great one. And has a lot of extra great verses that other books don't for whatever reason.
