When a player loses the game, any permanent they control but dont own is returned to their owner. Something to watch out for when playing lich effects in Blim

Not so. They’re exiled. 800.4a. When a player leaves the game, all objects (see rule 109) owned by that player leave the game, any effects which give that player control of any objects or players end, and all spells and abilities controlled by that player on the stack cease to exist. Then, if there are any objects still controlled by that player, those objects are exiled. This is not a state-based action. It happens as soon as the player leaves the game. If the player who left the game had priority at the time he or she left, priority passes to the next player in turn order who’s still in the game.

@@sugaranddice This is actually kind of confusing. The second part "any effects which give that player control of any objects or players end". This reads that anything Blim player gave them control of will return to the Blim player when they die. However, the next sentence contradicts it. So this begs the question: In giving control of a permanent using Blim considered a constant effect or is the rule specifically there for Act of Treason or "until end of turn" effects?

@@sugaranddice I believe you are correct in this as once the object is given, the effect is done and there is no follow-up to it.

@@fadinggrin4700 Yep, you've got it. I completely understand the initial confusion though. As you surmised, your quoted text is referring to ongoing effects as opposed to previously resolved one time effects.

In my Blim deck, I use cards like Mourning, on Blim! 4 Commander damage adds up quicker than one might think, and downsizing it by 2 makes for double the gifts!

Isochron scepter with final Fortune imprinted onto it and then that Artifact that allows you to take control of their turn yeah they get an extra turn so what

Really wish I saw this before I just dropped at 200 on a saproling tribal deck. Well not really tribal but definitely tokens. This deck would've been funny to make. Too many good ideas with the help of Commander legends

Definitely need to add in aggressive mining. Truly limits what the opponent can do during their turn

You need a good board presence to defend yourself. It’s easy to fill your deck with bad cards to give to people but there’s nothing to stop you getting punched in the face.

You know what to be funny I don't know the name of the card but there's a card that allows you to stop extra turns from happening but it doesn't stop the next part of the card from happening

A really bad card that's been hanging out in my binder that I wouldn't mind putting in a Blim deck is Vibrating Sphere. Please feel free to make any and all jokes about such a uniquely named card

Bronze Bombshell is a 4/1 for 4 colorless that explodes for 7 damage when it goes to an opponent. Wouldn’t be bad with a dictate of the twin gods or a damage doubler to really blow someone out of the game

thats a really good suggestion. But the best way to play bronze bombshell is with the German print.
