I am here today in memory of my husband, who died on this day ten years ago. He loved Blind Guardian and the Bard song. The first time I listened to this song was at his funeral.

I love that 80% of the people here are Medieval fantasy fans. I'm really happy for it. I am too :D

My son's music teacher at school: "for next week, choose a song which gives you emotions, bring it on a pendrive or email it to me, we'll play it in class and you'll tell what the song means to you". In my last will, I've specified that this is the song I want to be played at my funeral (which might be coming sooner than expected). I think it embodies the whole spirit of being a "bard", an entertainer, a musician, and how it feels like to leave this world, but also leave something to be enjoyed behind. Thank you forever, Blind Guardian.
