Lowry stayed healthier than 2 people on this list. Just as many chips as Kyrie and lead his team to more wins than anyone on this list. Lowry at 5 is a very biased decision.
John Wall is underrated, as the leader of his team he made it as far as anyone on this list or further in the playoffs, he is the best playmaker and defender out of all these guys too
@@jmgstudios4454HIS BEST YEAR was one year. Lowry made the playoffs seven times with Toronto, including five seasons with 50+ wins. They had their best regular season in franchise history with him. Three ECFs. And the 2019 ring. IT was great in Boston but their biggest achievement was one ECF. He wasn't anything special outside of Boston either. Throughout the 2010s Lowry accomplished far more. He made 6 all-stars to IT's 2 as well. This shouldn't even be close.

@@erikkallner7417 if everyone is at their peak, Wall goes over Lowry for sure cus idek what Lowry's peak was. But career is Lowry for sure, and then Wall being arguable over Lillard is wild as hell. "20 and 10 for 3 years" Lillard averaged 28 and 7 over 5 years on better FG%, 2PT%, 3PT%, FT%, eFG%, TS%. not to mention Wall averaging an entire turnover more, its like all context doesn't matter and just 20 and 10 is enough for you. if you wanna bring up defense like sure but like some of y'all gotta realize that elite level offense is sometimes better than good offense and good defense. Lillard led his teams to higher seeds in a tougher conference, he has 5 seasons of being top 8 in MVP voting compared to 1 from Wall, and 3 seasons where he finished higher than Wall's best season. Advanced stats also say Lillard. like it's not disrespect whatsoever Lillard is a HOFer and top 75 guy ever, Wall is just not that.
I'm always intrigued when people still talk about a player that clearly didn't live up to the hype he was given like he actually reached that level. John Wall did not reach that level for me to just comfortably put him over Kyle Lowry or Isaiah Thomas

John Wall build a career and reputation on hype while not accomplishing nearly as much as either of the other two guys. And that's a wild statement considering Isaiah didn't really have a very long career

IT over Lowry is crazy! Kyle was the point guard for a championship teams, numerous ECF teams, 6 time all star, and assists leader for the raptors. Damn near a decade of good play and being in the playoffs. IT had one great year and 2-3 years outside of that year. Your impact on the game matters.
Nah I might be glazing but I don’t mind John wall at 1. In his prime that dude put up 23 and 10, I’d argue that’s better than the 27 and 5 dame and Kyrie were putting up
John Wall was possibly the best defender and playmaking pg for 6 years. He was arguably the best pg during that time. But he was with one of the worst franchises and people just remember his last 6 years with constant injuries
I personally prefer a peak Kyrie over Dame. Can’t go wrong with either, and if someone disagrees with me, I can’t argue that. Kyrie has another atmosphere *whenever he’s focused/healthy*
I got: 1. Dame 2. Kyrie 3 John Wall 4. IT 5. Lowry Which might actually be correct. IT/Lowry is close. Lowry has more longevity and team success but Prime IT on the Celtics was an MVP candidate.
Nobody is near Steph brdr. They all fighting for the 2nd spot. Its Wardell - daylight then the rest. Either in 2010s or even 2020s so far. Steph with 2022 chip and the greatest 2021 season. He still here😅
@@NahanooHonestly in the mid-late 2010s John wall had a strong argument over Kyrie. I remember back then KB thought John wall was better I did as well. I think everybody is starting to have a longevity bias against Wall tbh. That said Dame is easily better
Whoever said "the rest of the list look fine" is wrong The point values are not equal in this game. #5 spot is worth 5. #4 is worth 10. 3 spot is worth 15 etc. Getting number 1 wrong is the worst thing you can do
DeMar DeRozan wasn't definitively better. He wasn't a better three-point shooter. He wasn't even close to the facilitator. They were both solid defensively. The rebounding numbers were similar. The fat man was the type of point guard who did traditional point guard things including setting guys up. DeMar didn't have that responsibility. I feel comfortable saying it was a 1a 1b kind of thing but it definitely wasn't a star and his sidekick.
I love d-rose but the more players that come into the league and has accolades to show for it. You gotta let go of “nostalgia” and appreciate the greatness while it’s here, Kyrie is by far better than d-rose
Shoot prime John Wall was elite but Dame and Kyrie are better and it’s really close between those 2 as to who’s the better player kyrie is more influential and harder to guard one on one but I’ll take prime Dame cause if prime Dame had better pieces and coaching around him he wins a title
John Wall’s a much better player than one dimensional Lillard and he’s at least lead a team. It’s crazy to think about, but Kyrie has never been a leader on any team. He was LeBron’s #2, then a total failure as “the leader” in Boston and New York, and now back to his comfort zone of being a #2 for Luka. John Wall was a damn beast.
