Oh my goodnes. There were real bad tornadoes in your state at the time you posted your last video. I was praying and hoping you were OK. Prayers answered!🙏 I am so happy that you are doing very well! Welcome back, we all missed you!! I also love the ice water analogy and the way you explained it so spiritually and lovingly! It is a beautiful gift that you have Beverly! Thank you so much for sharing your talent!

Thank you so much Paul for being so genuinely kind and connecting with so many through RU-vid. I truly would have responded to comments and videos but my glass was empty and you can’t give something that you don’t have yourself. I have pushed through these issues and feelings and I am doing very well and I so appreciate your concern and friendship. Have a wonderful week

Beverly❣️ Yay❣️ It is so good to hear you❣️ Glad you are here, smiley! I can very much relate to what you're talking about, plus the logistics of how catching up can feel overwhelming sometimes on top of that, even with our amazing technology adaptations. I think I've been away from instagram for over a year now, and I have missed many folks with their families there, and tried to think of ways to jump back in. I hope to soon. Of course as I get closer to figuring out a way to jump back in, more government agency paperwork already needs me to fill it out again. It is kind of hanging over my head. It always feels daunting, when having to do that over the internet. The accessibility of various agency forms online, is the anxiety. I would think it would be easier after all the March through April practice of three different "do overs" and a sketchy fax app on my phone. I did have what felt like the covid19 all over again for about the last month, after I got the second Pfizer shot. Glad I got the shots, and hoping to avoid any other variant of more covid19 stuff feeling like that. Just trying to get back to one of my better baselines. I have occasionally thought about trying the "Better Help" app. Meanwhile I keep trying to go outside, swim, read a couple of fictional escape books per week if I can squeeze it in, and play the guitar some everyday. I don't know why it's hard to give myself these permission slips for these things, including sleep, at what feels like inopportune times.

Hi Audrey, it is good to be back connecting with people that I have so much in common with. Reading books, playing the guitar, getting outside just for a few minutes a day are all really, really positive ways to spend a day or any extra time available. The daunting task of completing governmental paperwork has got to be extremely frustrating as well. For me, that kind of task evokes gloom and doom and procrastination at its highest level. LOL. You are intelligent and very competent so I know you will eventually get these issues behind you it will just take a lot of focus and effort and determination and probably creative skills, but I know you will get it done. Keep putting 1 foot in front of the other and thanks so much for connecting after all this time. Stay safe and happy! Love, Beverly

Hi Diana and thanks for the reminder for Sunday’s Collabs with Paul. He is always so good to send out a reminder and the link and the only reasons I have not participated on a regular basis are related to scheduling for Sundays and Family visits which always seem to occur at my house. Lol. So far, I don’t have any person scheduled to come but family issues seem to arise at a moments notice. Thanks for connecting and Sharing that you understand some of these feelings. Have a wonderful week and hope to see you Sunday! Love, Beverly

I am 52 and Legally Blind. I was born with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. I am also from Alabama. You are not alone. We all have been dealing with this pandemic. I have been working on my independent living skills. I am taking a class from Hadley to relearn Braille. I have also applied and was accepted into an Orientation and Mobility Immersion Program at Guide Dogs for the Blind. I’m just waiting to find out when I will be going. I guess you can say, I have been on a self improvement path. I have been looking at my day to day life, to see where I can find ways to help me with my day to day life. I don’t know if I will apply for a guide dog or not, but I am open to the possibility. First, I need to improve my cane skills. I have found a lot of encouragement from a lot of blind and visually impaired RU-vidrs. It will add more tools in my toolbox.

Hey Kimberly! It’s great to hear from a close neighbor with in my state. I am in the central part of the state and it sounds like you are really doing some phenomenal project and works in order to be your best self. All of the things you mentioned are very encouraging to me and they are all such positive steps on this site loss journey. I got my first guy dog at age59 atThe Seeing Eye and I can honestly say that a guy dog has totally changed my outlook on potential independence. My cane skills have also improved immensely since I got my guy dog and I can only attribute that to having better self-confidence all around. Thanks so much for sharing your information and I look forward to keeping in touch with all of the interesting and new things you are working on. Have a wonderful evening and thanks again so much for connecting with me. Love, Beverly
