Jonathas Soares it’s called metronome, Which they have on their in-ears (click track) but yeah, without him counting for me i would ve been so lost :) i was already a mess when they told me to go up! Blink182 life for life!❤️
I'm an amazon driver. And I had a package that was to one of travis's studios. And I need a signature and got it (not from travis) on my way out I hear drumming on like a seat and took a couple steps to peek and it was travis. He saw me and said hey what's up man. I said huge fan, love you man. He laughed n asked if i knew how to play guitar o said, your band taught me how to play are you kidding! He then asked of I had time to play a song w him of course I said yes. We ended up play 4 old blink songs and before I left he said "thanks for practicing w me".
To everyone complaining about the guitar volume... you can hear it a lot better by the end of the video. This is a soundcheck. They're still working out the mix for the show.
every blink fan (who plays guitar or another instrument) has this as one of their dream things to do lol I know almost all blink songs so I'd be ready if they asked me to play with them on stage 😎
Stop saying you can't hear the guitar, this is the sound check for a reason, everything wasn't sorted out just yet, this is hours before the actual show
Man I wish I was there. I've been playing that on drums for ages. I would have loved playing that on his kit. That verse is hard though, i would have choked. haha
They shoud fire their soundguy. I saw them live last month in Austria and if u were standing right under the stage u couldn't here the guitar same as here. Only if Matt was playing alone, u could hear him clean. My buddy who was farther from the stage recorded a video and could hear everything good. It sucks if they tour like this. They are my fav band but I was dissapointed.
The sound guy is a ways back from the stage, mixing the sound for the bulk of the audience so the best place you're going to hear it best is farther back, not right up against the stage.
Was the same at Rock Werchter that year. The volume of the guitar was way too low, and not only in a dead spot. Same goes for Matt's singing, although that wasn't really a problem...... His voice sucks
Travis is a God! 🤘🏻🤘🏻 I would love to feel what he feels by playing the drum like he does. Btw: I need you guys to come back to play songs like you used to before. I need songs like m+m’s and wasting time so bad. Please guys I still have faith on you!!
Hey man that was awesome. Check out the video I posted I think on another account called something like "blink 182 pulls fan on stage stay together for the kids New Orleans", I even played the same guitar as you! Easily the most exciting experience that probably either of us have ever had
He was just nervous, I guess. Also, when the drum starts it kinda feels out of tempo for a second, when you're playing the arpegio, and he could have mess it again, but Travis marking the tempo with the drum sticks until the drum rhythm starts helped the dude. Travis already knew it.
Kubo DesireHD i know! I apologize hahah i was so drunk in happiness that now i see this and am like... could have done this so much better but everything was so surreal that im just happy he got to record the happiest moment of my life.
LOL dude that's exactly what Tom would always do!!!! It's Blink not Descendents or Ramones. He was a self confessed shitty guitar player who always sucked and messed up live. No way he would downstroke pick if he could avoid it.
They were fixing it as we go. Onstage I could hear matt voice and the guitar perfectly but I guess from the pit they were mixing still. After 3:13 they got it right! Best night ever!
