The most organic people ever. Despite being ridiculously famous, they are extremely cool and don't let fame go to their head. They need to come back! :(
I'm actually a good friend of Ryan's. His band did get to open for Blink !! That was a dream of a lifetime for those guys. Unfortunately, Fat Tony only lasted another year after that and then they broke up. Ryan currently sings and plays guitar in a band called Dead Batteries in Pittsburgh. Great band !
I love the song Ryan does at the beginning --- Mark and Tom's reactions throughout it are priceless. 2:17 LMFAOOO omfg, Tom leaned in so quickly (or more than Ryan expected) it's almost as if he was prepared for a kiss. Then his reaction to the soft caress on his cheek, and below his lower lip, made me fucking die. I forgot all about this video. So glad it's still here on youtube.
Before Blink recorded the untitled album, Travis always did his drums and than left Tom and Mark to write songs over it. He would leave the studio after a few days of recording drums, so that's why he isn't there.
Yeah... he's from my town. My english teacher's nephew. I remember listening to Fat Tony practice in my friend's neighbor's garage before they opened for Blink. Wow.
@theempire00 Yeah, they did open for the Blink tour in Pittsburgh. I was the producer who went down there to shoot the segment we aired about it on TRL!
OMFG!! i would have killed to be doing that! man i love Blink... im soo jelous! haha it looked like Tom blushed when the guy said bye and put his hand on toms face!! lol haha i love tom♥

I wish I was born about 6 years earlier, so I could get to see my favrite band live. That lucky bastard got to open for them, damn I'd give my left nut if my band could have done that!
@Wildone995 You can hear it in the background beforehand and then once he mentions Blink they fade away and it stops like 2 seconds later. They didn't start playing it, it was already playing. Then when Ryan shows up they actually ARE playing Blink music
Yeah and I just watched a vid where Travis says "I used to stay for two days then leave, but this time I'm staying" It was called "ALbum Launch: Part 1 Blink 182" It was on there. But yeah Blink 182 Sum 41 and Green Day are my favorite bands everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
im honored aha, actually i was showing my buddy a bunch of funny blink videos in my favorites and we both watched this was we were like "wait, what was that, go back" ahaha
Yeah drums are recorded first. he just gets the parts down perfect, records them, then they lay down Bass and Guitar and vocals over that one drum track.... So yeah the drummer USUALLY gets to leave early if they want. Sum 41's drummer steve sticks around though, so i dont know. thats my guess though.
0:27 "I remember the 1st time that I saw the video for 'Baby One More Time' I put my face against the screen to see if I could see up your schoolgirl skirt" Now that's hilarious
I AM SO FUCKING JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! although he played it off so cool.. i know i would have been like so in awe and probably at a loss off words and stuttered or something really lame like that hahaha
it was their clothing company, but mark sold his shares i think a year after blink broke up and now has shares in famous stars and straps which is travis' company i dont know if tom sold his shares too ...
Just because a band is main stream doesn't mean anything. There are many bands that are like blink and play music they want and makes them happy. There are tons of good bands that never get a chance for a simple reason as there demo's quality sucks because they went to the cheap studio not the good one and some bands don't try hard. Then theres the band with super skilled people that cant write a good song and call bands like blink sellouts.people dig the energy that blink brought to the table
Mark and Tom are fucking awesome, imagine if the guy started touching Travis like that, Travis would get pissed off and take his life way too seriously.
