You will still get similar results nearly a decade later. Tom is very introspective and often times will go into great detail when describing something. Mark often times will give very straight forward and blunt answers. Both are good qualities in different settings.
@@TheBlackMambaa248I completely agree, the interview with zane lowe you're still getting a honest straight response with mark and tom going into his ruminative responses, i think tom just loves to reflect and self analyze everything which is a good quality to have imo
This was an excellent interview. Bravo on so many parts. It could have been a TRAINWRECK since its coming from a fan. And I mean that personally I would probably be a mess interviewing a hero of mine, even though I'd think I could keep it together. But this guy stays composed, he's extremely respectful but not to the point that its annoying or fake, and he gets good info out of them. He doesn't ambush them with tough questions, but they also aren't softballs. Its a knowledgable fan that gets them to reveal new stuff and NOT the same crap thats recycled in every interview. It adds a new dimension and cause its coming from a fan its EXACTLY what most of us want to hear. Which when you think about it is hysterical because Mark and Tom seem EXHAUSTED (understandably) from promo, when this is probably an interview they'd kill to have that actually cares about what they have to say.
This is very awesome to see Blink do this, This is probably in the interviewers top 3 life moment's as his love for the band is obvious and self admitted. You can tell by there faces "Mark and Tom" that they've heard these questions and did this countless times before but they we're good enough guy's to be fully engaged and even make an effort to make the interviewer more comfortable at that level of fame you rarely see that. Just gave me another reason to enjoy this band even more. ✌🤙
We need these two guys together again. Keep Matt as a second guitar player. Not for nothing California was a pretty dope album, could be cool if Matt was involved with Tom as well. Can’t wait till Tom is back.
I was at this show. I won tix on the radio and a backstage pass to meet them. I was wearing a Descendants shirt, Tom said, “I want your shirt”, I gave it to him and he took it and gave me a Blink shirt. He probably threw my shirt in the trash after, but thought it was awesome anyways.
despite their immature behavior in many interviews, they look more mature than travis, I saw some moments when travis was mad in some interviews. I think it really shows how travis is the youngest man in blink..

Also balding isn't part of aging, aging doesn't have to include massive degeneration of various things, that is a whole lifetime of specific lifestyle things that does that and ppl tend to think it's normal because it's familiar because humanity is terrifyingly unwell tbh, on all levels. But anyways, it was the hairstyle, that was being talked about. Which was a personal choice and it's also been worse tbh :')
probably the best blink interview. neighborhoods gets a lot of undue hate. I wish their intentions here had played out a little better but that's life.
+Liamo1232 I know. I mean, I know they obviously must (or they'd still be together), but everyone says it all the time and... all I can think is they play it off well. Their set RELIES on Mark and Tom getting along, basically, so you watch the videos of live stuff or these interviews and it really seems impossible to think it was as bad as they say. Maybe they just put on a really good face for the cameras. But you'd think they could just do separate interviews. Even as far back as Take Off Mark says they started hating each other and you listen to it and watch videos from that time and it seems unbelievable.

Tom’s so right about that when he says that most bands that reunite don’t do another album blink-182 did one more with Tom before he left again in 2015 damn I hope someday he does come back but it won’t be any time soon as he’s on tour with AVA

I've been a Blink-182 fan for 12 years now. But growing up in the 90's, I was into the old boy bands. The new boy bands suck. I don't care how many views they have. They're bad. Pop music sucks. I give Hot Chelle Rae respect cuz their first album was pop punk.
Back then they were young and much more energy lol After years if touring and getting used to the nice life im sure they just calm but not depressed haha
Dude it seems like Mark is the essence of Blink 182. Tom Delonge is just easily distracted. Their self-titled allbum has a sound that is so good and underrated.
Alright, first of all, Blink is WAY more successful than "One Erection". They've been an extremely successful band since 1999 when All The Small Things was released. Second, One Erection doesn't even write their own songs. They care more about their image than their music. Finally, One Erection is just a fad, and they will die. Blink-182 will never die, because they care about being themselves and having fun, not selling out and attracting overemotional 13 year old girls.
