Testing out a friend of a friend's gun model that was collecting dust, and I think it works quite well. Blister Pistol made by Confidentbottle Song is LUMINES Supernova - DQ0.8 Some sounds come from CoD
Thank you! I had a ton of fun making it; the actual model is a bit rough around the edges because it was my first time working with Plasticity3D and I wanted to just get something relatively simple made with the software to try out integrating it with the rest of my workflow. I just picked a gun from a sheet of weapon concepts of mine and went to town on it :P
What a unique mechanism, I like it. The popup front portion can be used as an "out of ammo" indicator for when you're tunnel visioned and not counting your shots because it blocks the sight picture when you've fired your final round. Plus it just looks fun, great model and animation
It is good for indication and fun, but I must point out how unreliable it would be realistically without proper maintenance or in the field. Not saying this isn’t a killing factor, but could you imagine if that thing got stuck in an emergency situation?
The shape and the bright red-pink color of the gun with the white paint strips honestly make it look very fun! Great animation again and Happy Turkey Day everyone!
Blistol Blisters the skin of the target where it is hit, granted the target is a living being that is alive. If the game it appears has a plot-related illness which has blisters amungst it's symptoms, critical hits infect the target with the illness in question, however, critical hit chance depend of how devastating the Lore accurate illness is.
The gun is so brightly colored and bulky that it looks something right out of a kids arsenal of toy weaponry xD Love it! Happy Turkey day as well Layzuh!
For some reason I thought the title meant that the pistol had something horribly wrong with the mechanisms and the user would get injured, resulting in a blister.
Why do I just want a full compilation of many Talking guns from the Borderlands series. (Prolly not Bagenella, but Bane and Texstar something might be fun)
I had an old nerf-gun ripoff that had a similar looking cover. It actually folded over and turned into a small "ballistic" shield. Neat mechanic all things considered
Seeing as the old concept sketch of mine that I modeled it off of doesn't have a guard above the handle to protect the slide from catching against the user's hand, it probably does give some bad blisters :P But the name was mostly a reference to its intended 'low-damage starting weapon' type feel
Ah, miscellaneous moving parts! A firearm nerd's favorite accessory! I'm _thankful_ you saw fit to animate these Catz! *crowd booing* Oh what do you want from me? I was rushed alright?
idk what it is but i will always love the way the "petals" open just like the borderlands3 weapons n such, something about it just adds such a cool feeling
This is such a unique channel and I’m so glad that I found you! A lot of other gun animations are just complete silence and then gunfire, but the little bit of voice acting and so much character
the shape of it kinda reminds me of the pistol from void bastards, especially the big blocky bit on the front of the gun. although none of the weapons in that game actually have reload animations lol. the retro approach of 'put the gun off screen and you just imagine what the reloading would look like'.
Dude awesome animation as usual. You should animate the Shambler shotgun or the Bastard smg from the Metro 2033 games next. Keep up the amazing work bud!!!
Have you ever looked at doing anything belt-fed? they don't seem common for fps reload animators do do (perhaps because they don't tend to be reloaded nearly as often, ha) but the different mechanism, more involved loading process, and externally visible belt on most seems like it could be a fun challenge that I'm sure would turn out fun with your style
This gun actually reminds me that one pistal from an anime called Kite from 1998. The gun is called "Red Club" and uses a high capacity mag with ammo explosives which detinate after impact. But still really cool gun design.
